Screenings of older movies
« on: March 13, 2020, 12:03:10 pm »
It's pretty rare that I go to see a new release, most aren't any good, and the few I am interested in I'd rather wait and see at home. But there are a couple theaters near me that sometimes screen older movies and I do enjoy going to some of those. Anyone else more tempted by old screenings than new?

I guess if it were an older movie I'd never seen before or a "classic" I'd go to a screening. Some of the new movies look great, too, but some don't look appealing because they lack originality.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

Well, I definitely enjoy old black and white classic movies in general more than I enjoy the movies that are made now. I would love to have the kind of theater you are talking about near me! I'm happy enough to watch them from my desktop, though. It's not the same as seeing these gems on the big screen, but it's what I have available and still really good. Enjoy yourself at the screenings!  :peace:
