In Pennsylvania our governor issued a statement if you have to go out, wear a mask.

I think wearing a mask is best for everyone.  I wear a mask and gloves when I run out to replace a staple.

I haven't been wearing a mask up until now but now that they are recommending face coverings in the New York City area where I live, I will be wearing one when I go to stores or pharmacies. I probably will continue not to wear one when I go on my daily walk because I don't run into very many people doing that plus when I do run into people, I usually cross the street to get away from them anyhow.

I haven't yet because the CDC was advising against it but they have now changed course.  I will be wearing one when I have to go out to the store.  I got some good masks from my work.  We have some in stock for when our construction crew has to work around hazardous materials.
Have a wonderful day!

I started wearing one when all this madness started; just had the ones that you use for  cleaning and to keep out dust since I have allegries, they are not medical but I think something is better then nothing.  Now they seem to be saying everyone should wear them!

My spouse and I now use a scarf around our faces if we have to go out-----it' better than nothing.  :peace: (it may become a fashion statement LOL)

Haha! I did the same yesterday when I picked up groceries. I think it's ok as long as there's a barrier over your face.

Starting wearing them as of Thursday when we go to the grocery store.  People are not still not trying to stay away from others in the aisle.  If I see someone in the aisle and they are too close to a item I want to purchase I back up and wait for them to move on. There was women standing by the chicken with a calculator so I moved on to another part of the meat section and waited took her about 15 minutes to decide on what to buy.  Maybe I am being overly cautious but I safe than sorry.

I had to get out yesterday and against my will I did wear one. I was told if I went I had to wear a mask. lol

Sadly even though half the people at the store had one on I still got made fun of.  That ain't gonna do you do good and it is to keep YOU from making others sick.  Uh NO I am not sick.  It is to keep your frickin spit droplets when you speak from getting in to my system.  smh

The CDC now recommends wearing a face mask in public places where it is difficult to maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet away.  This is because approximately 1 in 4 people who aren't infected won't show symptoms.  In the case of someone who doesn't know they are carriers, wearing a face mask in crowded settings could prevent the spread of these well-adapted microbes.

From what I heard, wearing a mask won't protect you from getting COVID-19, but it will protect others from getting it from you, in case you happen to be a carrier.
