In CA my husband must wear a mask at work as well. They issue them at security before they enter their work building. He is in the essential work category.

And I can't breathe properly in this mask.. but I understand the need to wear it at work during an epidemic. one day we will be able to return to normal life.

I personally think it is a good idea.  It bothers me that I am wearing a mask and others aren't.  They may be transfering the virus and not know it.

Hard to come by them. I was lucky to have a couple when I got the regular flu in December.

In Mass. we been wearing them for almost 2 weeks! I think we should have been wearing them earlier!
everyone stay healthy and safe! :rainbow: :peace:
I totally agree that we should be wearing them.  If it can help a little it is worth it and they are easy to make.  Our governor has not mandated but has strongly suggested it.

It should be recommended but not required...costs money to buy them.....not easy to get....same with gloves which don't really do anything beneficial, just spread germs around...

How does wearing gloves just spread germs around? It protects the person who is wearing them. If I go out in public I am worried about ME and keeping ME safe. Not everyone else.  If you touch something that has the virus germs on it and then touch something else I guess it could spread that way but that would happen no matter what.  I guess if you have gloves on you are more likely to me aware of touching your nose or mouth.

I know here a lot of businesses have told their employees they have to wear a mask or they are fired. My daughter an I have been making masks and selling them and giving them to hospital workers that need them.

My company now has everyone wearing masks.  Seems company policy has changed day by day as this virus spreads.

Stores also request people to wear masks.

I wore one last time I went shopping for groceries.  My glasses fogged up, but I continued  on.

Same... my glasses fog up frequently.  I've been running in the morning & wear a mask & my sunglasses fog up, so annoying, but I too continue on.  :)

I was at Walmart yesterday and there's a sign up saying that you have to wear a mask to enter the store.  Here it's mandated to wear a mask when you are out.

Over here you cannot go into any store unless you have on a mask.
