Do you research what you "hear" or just see headlines and run with it?  The pre-paid card is still part of the only stimulus out there. Some people received direct deposit, some a paper check and for whatever reason some that did not get their money either of those ways will receive a pre-paid debit card.

The so called second is just demorats talking. Nothing is set in stone on that. This is NOT free money like a lot of people think. First all the extra money people are getting in unemployment YOU WILL PAY TAXES on that.  And the $1200 is basically an advance on what you would have gotten back in 2021 when you filed your taxes. SO people gonna be crying when they do not get a big refund back next year.

We got our first Stimulus Check. I did not know about a second Check. I hope that we get that one as well. We all could use the extra money during these times.

Well We got the first one. There is always talks about the second one so we shall see. It would be nice to get another one. I will just wait and see what happens and see if anyone starts getting the second one

My husband & I received the stimulus direct deposit on April 15th. It came at the perfect time since I'm not working and my husband's hours were reduced to 30 hours. He was still considered an essential worker making refrigerated trucks. The stimulus money of $2,400 helped us during the time while I didn't have work and his was reduced. He wasn't eligible for unemployment since he still made $80 more a week on 30 hours than the weekly benefits.

We never missed any bill payments and luckily had some savings as well.

I actually don't think they should pass another stimulus check because we can't just keep printing money....  just my two sense....

Do you not get unemployment? Just curious. You are right about the just keeping on printing money. Most people are not smart enough to figure that out.  All this money is not free either.  All this extra unemployment people are getting if they did not have taxes withheld they will end up paying next year when they file.  And all the big checks people get at the first of the year they are not going to get.  You already got the money.  Except most people got more than they usually get as a refund.  I honestly do not think there will be another one  People need to get off their butts and go back to work.  There are jobs and employers are saying they can't get people to come back to work.

I hadn't heard that a second stimulus check would be coming.  It took a long time for the first one to get to us.  A friend just got hers last week.

So many haven't gotten the first one though.  I hope they'll get theirs first though.
