Maypops

The purple passion fruit. Passiflora incarnata  The apricot of the prairie.  I finally managed to keep 2 alive and looking good.  Now I am trying to decide the right place to plant them.  Also for the rain to stop long enough to get it done.   It sure has been a chili May.

I have not heard of this type of flower. I just Googled them and they look strangely beautiful! Good luck with finding a spot of where you want to plant them!

I love the flowers but I have seen somewhere that these plants can take over a garden.  Unless you have lots of extra space, be careful where you plant it unless you don't mind its invasive tendency

tjshorty, I am just amazed at what a green thumb you have. Seems like you can take just about any plant and make it thrive! I, unfortunately, have the black thumb of death when it comes to garden vegetables or any kind of plant. I don't know what happens, but no matter how much tender loving care I give them, they all just eventually die. Oh, well, maybe I give them TOO much care, LOL! Good luck with your purple passion fruit!  :peace:

I had not heard of them before either.  You can learn something new everyday.  Hope they do well for you.

Make sure you have the right place for them...so they will endure, survive.
