I used to love growing things but since I have gotten older my health does not allow me to do as much outside as I wish I could

No place for outside garden anymore but I do have a lot of house plants and they do well so I guess I have a green thumb

I don't have one but have been trying to grow more things lately.  My veggies and plants are green so we shall see in a few weeks.

This post made me laugh as I have certainly not got a green thumb.  We used to joke that my deceased granny could stick a dry stick in the ground and it would come up a beautiful plant.  After she passed my husband started planting stuff which always thrived.  Then we joked she left her green thumb to him.

I have been planting a garden for over 20 years and I usually get very little. Because of the quarantine this year I feel like I am a step ahead of where I usually am and am hoping this will be my year to get something out of the garden. Wish me luck.

Sometimes I do and there are the times that I have a brown thumb.  I think it depends on the plant.

I would say I do not have a green thumb.  I don't have plants indoors.....mostly due to lack of space and a good location to have the plants.  The kids gave me a potted plant in September.  It lasted until May.

Good Luck.

I have a green thumb.  I am already getting so many yellow squash and zucchini that I am having to freeze them.  I can see lots of tomatoes, green beans and green peas very close to needing picked.  My garden is doing really well early this year.  I guess because of the stay at home it got a little more attention than usual.

I'll soon see! I can't wait to start my tomatoe garden  :clover:  :clover:  I think with the right soil and knowledge I have a good shot at keeping the food growing.

Have you considered window sill plants?

I come from a long line of gardeners.  I like to think I have a green thumb, whatever that means.  Growing a garden is a lot of work...tilling, planting, mulching, watering, weeding...but I can't imagine not having a garden.  We grow tomatoes, beans, beets, radishes, cucumbers, watermelon, squash, carrots, peppers and hot peppers, sweet corn, and herbs.  We also have our own asparagus patch.   Every year I look forward to fresh vegetables.  I also have 4 flower beds. I'm exhausted just telling you about it.
