I'm just tired of people sharing and spreading false information on facebook.  Just because someone posts something, does not mean it is real or accurate.  I wish people would look into things before they post.  I rarely believe anything I read on facebook, but I think I am far from the norm.  I also wish we could go back to a time when Facebook was just about friends reconnecting and catching up with each other's lives.  Why does everything have to be about politics, covid, protests, etc.  I miss the old days.

Because people are idiots.  I never knew Facebook to be a time that was just about friends. When I had an account years ago it was political and drama and stupidity, which is part of why I deleted the account.  A lot of what people post they most likely do not know it is fake news.  People just believe stuff.  People also focus on the negative. They don't want to hear the positive. Same with this stupid virus.  All some people want to focus on is the total positive cases and they get all mad if you say but wait 3/4 of those are recovered so the actual positive cases is much lower.   Anyway, it is not just Facebook it is any where and every where people can post.  All they want to talk about is politics, cov, protests, and other controversial stuff.  People also, which goes back to my orig post, want to take part of what somebody says and then try to ruin their life.  But when you look at the whole conversation it is totally different.

At any rate, I would never look for news on facebook or any social media account.  I don't believe half of what is on supposed reliable news sources.  Most of it is fake.
