A grill? an umbrella/covering for protection from rain/sun?

A Bench, a  nice Umbrella, there are some candles to help with bugs and mosquitoes, maybe some nice lighting

Wind chimes and some flower pots, preferably with flowers in them.  We have a bird bath on our deck too...always entertaining.

The most interesting addition we made to our deck was a hummingbird feeder. Very inexpensive, simple to maintain and enchanting to watch for hours.

my mother always had humming bird feeders on her patio. They are neat to watch!
I have pink geraniums on my patio- so pretty
I also have a small battery operated water fountain.
Enjoy your new deck! :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

This is wonderful for you! My brother and his family have a deck, too, and they use it constantly in good weather. I would love to have a deck, but we live in a one-story ranch house. If I had a deck, I think I would decorate it with patio furniture (with umbrella) and a barbecue grill and possibly some tall potted plants or something. Enjoy!  :peace:

Thanks everyone many good ideas. I'll have to wait till it's finished to see how much room I have to put all this stuff LOL.

An umbrella and fire pit.

Not sure I would want a fire pit on a deck, especially if it is a wooden deck. Maybe on a concrete patio or further out in the yard if that is possible, but it seems to me that would be dangerous to have one on a deck itself.
