feels like fall
« on: June 24, 2020, 05:58:19 am »
:DSince the first day of summer the weather has gotten chilly.  Started this morning in the 50's.  I am wearing a jacket right now.  I was thinking about the last couple months.  April warm enough that it caused the rhubarb and asparagus to bolt.  May was cold.  Rained quite a bit.  June was hot.  In the 90's.  I put in the window a.c.  Now I wish I hadn't.  If this pattern holds steady July should be Misérables with the heat.  Don't get me wrong.  I like this cool weather more than the heat.

We've had low 50s here as well! Felt good after having a couple hot and humid days!

Our weather is all over the place!  50's one day - 90's the next!!  Can we just a pick and average temperature and stick with it for a while so we can get used to it??

It is 87 degrees out right now.  I am loving it.  Summer is my favorite season.  I am outside under the patio umbrella.

I enjoy the AC to a degree, but most times it is set so cold at work that I can hardly wear summer clothes.  I always have a sweater or sweatshirt on and often I have to add my "in-between" seasons light jacket.  My fingers, nose and toes even get cold.   My job is not a desk job so it isn't that I am sitting still or under the vent.  The place is just that darn chilly :(

Seems we can't find a happy medium.

I guess I shouldn't complain so I will just say that I am enjoying these days when the rain cools us down, however, it leaves us with lots of humidity.  Our nights are good.  No A/C yet.  Yay!

I does feel a bit like early fall. The weather in my area has been milder than usual.

That is my biggest pet peeve during the summer - dressing for hot weather outside and dealing with freezing indoor AC! Every office I've worked at is always excessively cold during the summer and it's hard to focus on work while my legs are freezing due to the AC.

You're right. There's never a happy medium.
