Are you good at assembling furniture
« on: June 28, 2020, 10:53:14 am »
I spent a whole afternoon putting together a new desk but I actually kind of enjoy a task like that. Most people seem to complain about it. Am I the only one?

Back in the day, I took pride in putting things together, but now I have so many aches and pains I usually call my youngest son to help me out.

I love to build furniture not. More like I'm always asked to by guilt tripping me by family. They know i don't like doing it but they insist im the best for the job anyway. Unless if its for myself i don't mind

Yes I like to put things together, it is easier with pictures, instead of print.

I love it! My husband hates it, so it's always my job. Yay! The last thing I put together was an exercise bike. Before that, a computer desk and a shoe storage bench.

Yes, I used to be pretty good at assembling furniture, especially the kind that comes with a hex key, LOL! But as I've gotten older, the pain in my knees kind of stops me from getting on my knees to assemble any kind of furniture. Thankfully my husband can still get down on his knees to assemble stuff, but I do have to help him back up off the floor when he's done!  :peace:

If it looks simple, I’ll try but usually I’ll give up and my husband (who sits and watches me with a grin) will finish it.

The problem is they usually draw the pictures in Chinese
