I opened a support ticket
« on: July 02, 2020, 09:41:03 am »
The certificate for Fusion Cash has expired and members get a dire warning when trying to access. Another member informed me that it is just a warning that the site may be fraudulent but since we know FC is legit, it would be ok to be on it.

I did open a support ticket and let the administrator know that the Certificate has expired.

Thanks for sending in the support ticket. The warning message is gone for now, but it'll come back. Hopefully FC support can get this fixed eventually.

their certificate expired..I've gotten those messages on other websites..as long as you know the site is legit before the certificate expires you are safe...not sure how long it is good for but it won't expire soon

Mine appears to be fixed, too. Hopefully, it is a long-term thing -- I'm so glad someone was able to get it reported and it was fixed -- thanks Bostonphil!

It is not a dire warning. People get too excited. Or maybe just being computer literate I knew it was not that big of a deal. I am sure the admin was already aware. It will likely be weeks before your ticket is seen and you will get a reply stating the certificate is fine. lol

There is another site I visit quite often that has the same warning.  The company has 2 different websites with 2 different names but one certificate so the one that the names don't match up it gives that warning.

Why do you say that? It won't come back. It is not that big of a deal. It is not some big scary thing. There is no big something to "eventually" get fixed. It is like a website I am webmaster on.... We have things that have to be renewed every year.  IF we miss renewing people who try to visit the site will get messages similar to this. It is not a huge deal. Nor a big huge hard thing to take care of. It is actually a really simple fix.

I've gotten that message multiple times before this topic was started and the support ticket was sent in. Everytime I waited a few hours and the message would disappear and I'd be able to access FC again. Maybe it's "no big deal", but it's broken and it'll stay that way until it's fixed. Unless the admin has already fixed it, the message will come back every now and then.

The admin should know if the certificate is expired. Maybe the person behind the site doesn't check emails. When there is anything going on with either of the sites I maintain we get a message via email. If something that needs to be renewed yearly or how ever often is up for renewal I will get a message at least a month ahead of time. I make a note and take care of it. I guess that is not the norm for most people.  If I saw this on a site I was not familiar with I would not proceed.  Seems like I saw it once, now that you mention it, a really long time ago.  I got some weird issue a few days ago when I tried to log in. I just x out and typed in address again and figured I done it wrong. But the message you all saw is not a big deal. You just have to "accept the risk" of going to the site.  I saw something like that a couple times in the paid to click when it takes you to another site but I  x back  out.  I guess the way the message is worded makes it sound scary to people who are not computer literate.

I got the same warning one day a few times, but I just figured I know it is a legit site so I ignored it.

Overall the last three four years seems like the person who owns and runs the site has become lazy or something else happen. Its def differen't from when I first started. The dude who ran this site used to be a lot more active. I haven't seen him active in a long time so I'm wondering if ownership quietly changed hands or someone else was put in charge that shouldn't be in charge. It has gotten worse. We used to get alot of new offers and don't anymore. We used to have paid to call and thats been axed it seems. those offers paid pretty well
