Thunder
« on: July 09, 2020, 02:03:00 pm »
Ok I just had a thunder outside my house that shook my whole house.  What the heck is that all about?  We have had thunder storms every day for over a week but none of the thunder shook the house.  WOW - have you had any serious thunderstorms in your area lately?

Not had any bad storms in my area in a long time. I have heard thunder that rattled the windows. The last time I really remember the house shaking it was an earthquake but it was in the middle of the night and I did not know what was going on until the next day when I saw it on the news.

No, I've never had thunderstorm that shook the house.  We haven't had a thunderstorm in a long time.

I've been through several thunderstorms that have "rocked" the house.  It's kind of neat actually.

Georgia has been getting some pretty bad Thunder Storms just about every day too. As long as my Lights stay on, let it Storm. It is much cooler this time of Year.

Not lately, but a few years ago we had thunder that knocked a stone sculpture off of the wall in our hallway.  The picture didn't just fall off the wall it flew two feet across the room. (you'd think someone threw it)  :o

up until last week i haven't had a bad thunderstorm  in a couple of years.this storm had a lot of lightning and it was right over head for a while. At least we got some needed rain and no one was hurt.  :rainbow: :peace:

We just had a pretty mighty thunderstorm last night. I love thunderstorms, but I would be a little scared if it shook the whole house! Give me a non-house-shaking thunderstorm any day, as long as it doesn't stop me from doing what I need to do, LOL! Great sleeping weather!  :peace:
