Do you have a pet or not?

I am sure many of you have seen my posts about the two elderly sister cats we had since kittens.  One recently passed away and now her sister is still alive.     I doubt there will be any more pets in this household.  The cats belonged to my sons and the little dog that I am holding in my profile picture was my BFF  and I had to let her go when she became ill so I am kind of done.

i currently don't have a pet. i did however, grow up with 3 dogs. An english setter, black lab and a chocolate lab. i am definately a dog person

I have a wonderful cat (avatar picture from when he was a kitten. We adopted a cat (named him Spike) when we first got married 25 years ago. He lived to be about 14, and after he died, we waited for about 6 years to get another cat, because we were so sad about the loss of Spike. So we adopted Tinker as a kitten, and I don't think I've loved any other cat as ferociously as I do him!

I have an 11 year old chocolate lab, 1 year old black lab, 9 year old pixibob cat, and a 31 year old horse.

I had a cat. She was ailing with heart issues. After listening to family members, we put her down. It was hard, but it was selfish for me to want her to stay alive although she was in pain.

I have a 12 year old turtle. I also have a kitten that I got on July 5th. And a cat that's like 3 years old.

I have a dog and a cat. My cat will be my first and last cat. I love her, but cats are too much work. Lol!

We have always had a dog or dogs, but do not own one at the moment.  My granddog, Cinnamon, a fifteen year old miniature pinscher, is sitting right next to me as I type. When she was a wee pup, my husband and I kept her and watched her grow up.  She stayed with us more than with her "parents" since they were on the road with their band, playing over 200 shows a year. So Cinnamon feels at home with us and although we don't need to keep her as often as in the past, she gets to come visit and hang out, and we love having her.
