It's not just California. I moved from Simi  Valley (near LA) California to Portland Oregon and today we have over a Million Acres burned this fire season and it's still going. Smoke has cut visibility to 1 mile and whole towns are removed from the map. I hate to say it, but more is coming every year.

I work with someone living in northern california and they said that the sky is red most of the time from the fires and they cannot go outside because of all the smoke. Hope you all get some rain some time soon.

This year is worse, because the governor is irresponsible with money, so he just keeps raising taxes every time people move out and robs peter to pay paul.  All his money from prevention went to sanctuary cities.  He's failing just like every Liberal governor and mayor.  People, If someone can't balance their own checkbook, don't give them yours to spend.  Duh!

I'm currently in SoCal and the skies have been hazy for at least a week.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

The fires are such an awful thing and now they are spreading.

The worst part is the air quality in Portland, Oregon (where I live) is 406 out of 500 and considered hazardous to go out into. It looks like a heavy fog if you peer outside.
