I'm a bad widowed wife
« on: September 26, 2020, 11:54:01 pm »
September 16th was my husband's real birthday & completely forgot about. I guess I was distracted because I just heard via messenger was that one of my brother's will be out of the job beginning January 2021. His job is computers & not only is he gonna lose his job his entire department/team will can into to new year. So, I just forgot my Husband's birthday.

Happy to say, I get a 2nd chance today because September 26th's is His legal birthday! So, Happy Honey, I hope you're having a great time sweetie, where ever you are.  :present:  :in-love:

Not sure i understand  why he has 2 birthdays, but it’s ok you forgot.  Doesn’t make you a bad widow.  I’ll wish him a Happy Birthday too!

My bf has 2 birthdays because his mother changed his birthday so he could start school early.  His "legal" birthday is in August what he uses for his documents but his actual birthday is October.

Yea I did the same for the first year since the year my husband passed which was 2013  -  for years we went out to eat and had a celebration of his life but since covid I guess I just passed over it.  So I understand.

I'm sure your husband wouldn't mind id you don't celebrate his birthday without him!

I hope your brother is looking for a job now? I know some businesses have closed! What his profession?

Well with other things on your mind it's not surprising. Don't feel bad I'm sure it's happened to others. He may get you back and forget yours.

Nope your not a bad widower. During these troubled times when issues come up people just forget things that are important. It happens & its not your fault.

it does  not make you a bad widowed wife. I have seen people pass over the years and sometimes I remember the birthday and sometimes I get sidetracked and forget :peace:

I don't think forgetting your deceased hubby's real birthday makes you a bad widow. Remembering it on his legal birthday more than makes up for that. It's too bad about your brother too. I hope he finds new work quickly.
