I thought the debate was a total disgrace. Cateyes, I do not think Biden was wearing a wire, do you seriously think that would be allowed?  I wish Trump, would not have interrupted as many times as he did.  I think he made a mistake by doing that, but we will see in November.

The Presidential  Debate was pure mockery.  Trump came out trying to intimidate Vice President Biden by making such stupid remarks or disturbing Biden when he was  talking.  Trump came off as the biggest clown to ever speak.  I know the other countries are laughing their A**es off.  The buffoonish idiot shames the USA.

This would have been a perfect time for a third party candidate who acted presidential. It would not have costed that much "relatively speaking" because they could say they are not travelling because of the corona virus. Michael bloomberg blew it.

Trump pressed him hard and Biden looked like the kid who got so frustrated that all he could do is call names

It was somewhat of a twist for it to be Biden that was calling Trump names & telling him to shut-up -- who says "shut-up" to the President of the United States, or anyone really.  That nervous laughter he kept using when he couldn't defend himself.  First Presidential debate I ever watched, they should just put the two candidates together & let them debate without any kind of biased moderator.
I think Biden was foolish to accept debating Trump. He had to know there would be a zillion interruptions.Unless he felt let the public see how rude he really was.

Name calling? He called him a clown and worst president of all time.I have no prob him as a clown....but i thought 2nd Bush was worst president of all time.

Bush #2 was up there for sure; but Bush #1 was pretty bad as well --Bush, the elder, started the US towards one world order & pushed us towards globalization. Thankfully we have Trump & not Jeb.  Enough Bushes already.

Ding Ding! Part two is this evening! Thank heaven there will be more control in place. Hard to believe that one bad apple has lead to silenced microphones but I am all for two minutes of hearing what each candidate has to say in response to proffered questions. Such childish antics in the first debate...I would have cancelled tonight's debate if I had been subject to the constant interruptions. Six areas of debate. I. Fighting CoVid: I would not have downplayed the severity nor would I have spent any time on the golf course. II.American family assistance: I would have made it available to all families (poorest families do not qualify) and my tax cuts would not have aided the uber rich III. Race in America: I would not have hesitated in disavowing hate groups (or told them to stand by) IV, Climate Change: I would listen to my scientific advisors.instead of firing them whenever they did not agree with me and hiring people with no experience V. National Security I would not have chummed u with North Korea (Iran and NK have now been able to build up their nucear fire power) VI. Leadership: I would not have alienated our allies

Mikes muted tonight?

I guess we find out how strong Trumps voice is.

Just like Satan knows his time is short.....Trump knows that too about himself.

I was so....mature! Glad that the moderators were able to real one of the candidates in with something as easy as muting the microphones. Kristen Welker did a wonderful job of baby sitting two seventy plus candidates even in the face of trump's early attacks calling her terrible and unfair (this was her first time as a moderator) and faulted her for her parent's contributions to the democratic party. I think that both sides won. Biden appealed to families by stating that this election was bout the American families, not Biden's and not trump's in the face of Trump's continued attacks on Biden's once wayward son Hunter and Biden's non-attacks on the easy to attack trump clan; trump appealed to his main demographiic-white voter's without a college degree.

This was certainly a better debate than the first one, I thought. The moderator was much closer to fair this time and both candidates were better behaved and more coherent.

90 minutes of "he said she said"

Yet somehow most of us are drawn to the lies..............

I do wanna say something RE what Trump said about Putin and Russia. He made it sound like they are buddy buddy...no problem, yet while Russia has persecuted the JWs Trump does NOTHING!!Or to my knowledge not attempted to help them.
But his SIL gets great deal buying the Watchtower building for $340 million.

Stop saying Biden has NO guts.

And if Biden wins and does nothing either hes gutless too.

But this happened on Trumps rein just like Corona did too...and 9/11 happened on younger Bush who still goes down in my book as worst president...Trump might have a chance to get that dishonor eventually.
