Today, I went to vote early, but was told early voting doesn't start until October 14th.  I have decided of a different way to vote.  I WILL VOTE

I received my ballot in the mail but will drop it off at the clerks office next week.  I don't want to mail it.  This is my first time not voting on election day.

Early voted today at the county courthouse administration building. As a bonus, I got a red and white pen that said "I voted" on it. I'm easily pleased at times.

Anyway, I met another girl when I was walking who had also early voted, and we high-fived. Hooray for us! :highfive:

Yes; easily pleased at times.  :silly:

:fish:
I hope that was a virtual high five with that stranger.

I don't think the Democrats are wrong and it's because of Trump.  If Trump had not taken all the post offices hostage, we would not be worrying about where and how people vote.  How they allowed Trump to do this is beyond thought.  It seems everybody who reports to him has no *bleep*.  They refuse to confront him with all the stupid antics that shows what a buffoon he really is. All the lies he tell and then blame it on others or fire them.

Are you kidding??? Trump has nothing to do with the post office. In fact, a lot of stuff that was going on happened on Obama's watch as usual. BTW, pictures of mailboxes in piles are there because they need maintenance. Sorting machines taken out of ervice happened because low mail volume and/or they need repairs. The media loves to rile people up by blaming everything that goes on in this country is Trump's fault. Not so.  Don't be falling into the trap about Trump that so any people do.

:cat:

I have always voted by mail without incident and expect the same this election, my vote counts whether I can make it into the polls or not!  This is very disheartening for our disabled population to be told their vote will end up in the trash if they mail it in this time!

It is what it is. There is proof there is already fraud and that Trump votes have been thrown in the trash. You actually do not know your vote was counted without incident. Maybe this is just the first time you are aware there were problems.  It is going to be a mess.  The dumos are cheating with every breath. I don't know what is fixing to happen but I don't think it is going to be pretty.

There are many journalists and prominent politicians, including some Republicans, already reporting that historically there has not been fraud in mail-in voting.  There are a number of states and the military which have been doing it for some time.  Your own president and his family and some of his associates who have participated in it.  Funny thing!  This is another tool that the Tool-in-Office is using to undermine this very democratic process, including a peaceful transition of power.  If there was no other reason, excepting there are many, this would be the reason to take this guy out of the White House.  He undermines our institutions every day!  Two of the locations where they found ballots thrown out were old ballots, which by law they have to keep for a certain length of time before they can throw away, and it was time to get rid of them.  One of the other locations where they found supposedly missing ballots, the state had not even mailed out the ballots yet.  For a general election the return envelopes are all the same color for the regular population and green for military and overseas ballots.

Usually any machines taken out of service for maintenance are not taken out until a replacement or new parts have arrived.  Some of the mail boxes removed were in very high volume locations, and areas where it would be difficult for people to get to other postal boxes or post offices. Trump did appoint DeJoy who is a personal friend and large campaign donor and also happens to owns  a lot of stock in a company that is in competition with the post office.  It is the job of the media to let people know what is going on, if that riles people up it is what it is.

Sometimes I just think wow.  If the Dem. are so devious why do we have a republican president, ever?  I will be voting some how.

You are wasting your time trying to explain this to them. They only see what they want to. They hate Trump and Republicans so bad it is unreal.  I actually had somebody try to argue with me saying it was the Republicans that were for abortion and the demonrats were trying to save the babies. At this point I had to walk away.  Some people are too stupid to even talk to.

The media LIES. Surely you know that by now.  It has been exposed over and over.  They have been lying to us for years.  If they are reporting the horrible stuff the big Ds are doing you have no problem saying they are lying. You just believe this because it is negative about Trump.  The demonrats have already been caught with millions of fake ballots.  Vote in person or don't vote.  And you need a current ID as well.  With a picture on it!

So much finger pointing-blecch. I will be dropping my ballot off. We have enough ballot boxes in Colorado. No decrease in boxes, reductions in number of voting locations, and hopefully minimal Russian intervention. I feel sorry for so Many Texans that have been relegated to dropping their ballots at one location per county. Some of those counties are more than a thousand square miles which could mean it would take a few hours just to avoid potential exposure to people with CoVid. Over Two hundred and twenty thousand votes will not be counted this year thanks to Covid. Another One hundred and eighty thousand deaths are forecast by the time the next presidential term begins which will bring the total to over four hundred thousand, The 1918 Pandemic (called Spanish but actually American in origin) took over six hundred thousand-betting we match, and beat, that number. I am surprised that rules like this were not in play with people in Florida where the average age is much higher and politicians are out of control.

Please vote in person!

Please stop posting negative information on this site. Whether which party you're with this is still America & with all this bickering we're just entertaining our true enemies who continue to call us STUPID AMERICANS as they watch us rip each other apart every election year. Personally, I refuse to listen to negative media for ether party. I will vote via ballet because it's the easiest way for me. Whether voting by mail or in person, both ways has a possible way for evil ppl to destroy votes.

I got my ballot but I think I'm going to go drop it off. I don't feel that's 100% safe either but who knows what goes on, it's at least better than leaving it in my mailbox i think.
