Family is Universal and Human Beings are not Illegal
« on: November 13, 2020, 12:06:05 pm »
There is some things in this world that should not be done.  Forcibly separating a child from their parents who are desperately trying to make a better life for them, is one of those “things”.  I don't care what your political views are.  I don't care what part of the planet you live on.  Some things should not be done.

I lifted this statement from a Washington Post article.
~ “House Democrats call Trump’s family separations 'reckless incompetence and intentional cruelty'.”[/i]
(Reference:  https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/10/30/migrant-children-border-unaccompanied/)

I don't agree just because Democrats said this.  But that bit about “intentional cruelty”?  I believe it!!

You have to be a really nasty individual to come up with solution like this.  You have to be an even lower lowlife to carry out the order.  Even in the military, a subordinate can question the "morality of an order" given to him or her by his superiors.  So I don't just put the total responsibility for this action and decision all on Trump!  However ... since he is the president ... the buck stops at his desk which means he carries the most weight.  I have no doubt it was his idea.

First of all, the problem with “illegal immigration” in America is the fact that some people in America think that other people from outside of America don't need to be treated like human beings.  They just need to go back where they came from OR go somewhere else!  Just don't come to America.  That's the problem!

That attitude is just plain old nasty and intentionally cruel.

No matter what anybody says, the so-called problem of illegal immigration is about POWER when it should be about COMPASSION.  Care and compassion for your fellow human being.

You may not be American.  But I'm sure your country has immigration laws too.  Did a leader in your country ever forcibly separate children from parents?  If so, what was the result?  Let's discuss.  If you think I'm wrong call me out!

If abortions and prejudice <to name a few things>exist,we shouldnt be surprised.

Again,a God of love would have NOTHING to do with the cruel acts on earth.

The bible explains why.Too mad many are content with the way things are or are too blind or just dont care.

When an adult breaks the law, their children, or the children in their care, are separated from them. Would you have children sit in a cell with their parents while they serve time?

Crossing the border illegally is a crime and adults are separated from the children accompanying them because the children are innocent. They often are not even the children of the people crossing, but are used as a passport to enter our country.

It's not pretty, but it's necessary to separate them. It's not our government's responsibility to coddle criminals if they choose to involve children in their illegal activity. Bear in mind that it was Obama's administration that made those so-called cages for the children. Trump was forced to use them as "it is standard practice in detention settings to keep different demographic groups safely apart for their own protection".

I understand how you can have tender feelings for the children because I'm sure it was no picnic for them, but it's not our government's fault that they were forced to take such seemingly harsh measures against illegal activity.

The USA government has made a living putting their 2 cents in this world where it doesnt belong.

The best example is intervening in the Vietnam War cos N.Viet wanted to start communism in S.Viet.

USA trying to rule the world under Satan IOW.

Anyway as we know 1000s of lives lost or wounded in Vietnam....over what?A modern day Sodom trying to tell other countries what government to use.Gimme a break.

Not every immigrant was a criminal im sure.Just a way to SUCK up to those that think Trump is the Messiah.

Whatever happened to the words on The Statue of Liberty?

Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
