NOT the White House!

The US CAPITAL that supporter got into the capital! 1 female veteran shot & later died.

Wall of FBI agents, police and National Guard protect senators on return to chamber after Capitol siege: DC Mayor Muriel Bowser imposes 15 days of emergency measures after pipe bombs, guns and Molotov cocktails are found

Four people are dead and dozens have been arrested after Donald Trump's supporters stormed the US Capitol and clashed with police in a bid to stop Joe Biden's victory being certified.

Ashli Babbit was the first person confirmed dead after she was shot in the chest when she and dozens of other protesters breached security perimeters at the Capitol on Wednesday afternoon.

Babbit's husband revealed her identity to San Diego news outlet KUSI. He said Babbit was a 14-year veteran who served four tours with Air Force as a 'high level security official', a fervent supporter of Trump and 'a great patriot to all who knew her'.

It remains unclear who shot Babbit as the Metropolitan Police Department in DC conducts an investigation into her death. Witness accounts and videos from the incident suggested that she may have been shot by police while trying to climb through a broken window near congressional chambers.

DC Police said that three other people died on Capitol grounds on Wednesday, according to Politico. Those three deaths were related to unspecified 'individual medical emergencies'.

Several blocks away from the Capitol, a man was stabbed outside the Trump International Hotel, NBC reported.

The National Guard descended on the streets in large numbers to help enforce a 6pm citywide curfew while hundreds of protesters remained on the Capitol grounds. As of 11pm 30 people had been arrested for breaking curfew. Fifteen others were arrested earlier for protest-related activities over Tuesday and Wednesday, police said.

Two pipe bombs found near the Capitol grounds at the headquarters for the Republican and Democratic National Committees were removed, along with a truck filled with long guns and Molotov cocktails.

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser declared a state of emergency in the city for the next 15 days until the inauguration.

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser declared a state of emergency in the city for the next 15 days until the inauguration.

Earlier in the day, President-elect Joe Biden called for the 'mob to pull back' and said the uprising bordered on sedition.

Trump - after remaining silent for much of the afternoon - posted a video telling his 'very special' supporters inside the Capitol that he loves them and understands their pain but urged them 'to go home'.

He had initially encouraged his supporters to march to the Capitol after a rally earlier in the afternoon before asking them only to remain peaceful when violence broke out.

After an hours-long recess, members of the House and the Senate who had been whisked to safety when the siege kicked off returned to the Capitol just before 8pm to resume their Joint Session to certify the Electoral College count of the presidential election.

The lawmakers were seen flanked by armed guards as they made their way back into chambers.

I think that what happened is absolutely uncalled for.  People get hurt, property is destroyed and nobody wins anything by doing these things.

It's weird to see some of Trump's staunchest supporters fed up with him.

I've never seen anything like this before. No one has ever gotten this close to the White House!  Your thoughts????

It wasn't at the White House it was the Capitol.  It's really amazing how nothing was done about the protesters.  They stormed the Capitol and no one was hurt or killed by the Police/Guards.  Yet, only months ago, protesters were battered and hurt.  Also Some people were killed. BLM

Sadly, a Capitol police officer lost his life after Trump thugs bashed his head in with a fire extinguisher.  It caused him to have a stroke. Anyone supporting this is a monster.

Well hopefully they can sort it out, with the help from videos and bring to justice the ashls that supported that stampede.

A shame a few lost their lives and there were injuries.

Let justice come from what they can figure out and also from God.

The Bible offers a solution to injustice, corruption, and oppression. It describes a government that God has set up in heaven that will replace the failed political and economic systems that lead to protest. A prophecy about the Ruler of this government says: “He will deliver the poor one crying for help, also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper. From oppression and from violence he will redeem their soul.”—Psalm 72:12, 14.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that God’s Kingdom is mankind’s only true hope for a peaceful world. (Matthew 6:9, 10) Thus, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not engage in protests. But is the idea that a government by God could eliminate the reasons for protest unrealistic? It might seem to be. Yet, many have developed confidence in God’s rulership. Why not look into it for yourself?

They aren't.  There was a picture of the one guy claiming to be MAGA that was also at the BLM protests. This was all planned. If you watch some of the videos the "protestors" did not force their way in.  The "police" on the inside opened the door and invited them in.

Ignorance is going to end this country. The people who were doing the bad stuff were not Trump supporters.  You are right in the ones that were out of control are supporting a monster.  But it wasn't Trump.  ::(

Yes BB...quite so!!

When U have many that think he was the best president this country ever saw or what just happened in Washington were NOT from his supporters all U can do is just PITY them.

You watch how fast they jump on Biden when they get the chance. If he takes a leak and misses the bowl they will call the National Enquire up to report it.LOL!

From what i saw in presidents stemming from Eisenhower to the present i always thought 2nd Bush was the worst. But in light of this past yr and what just happened Trump has given him some stiff competition.

Even tho Nixon was a cheat, the draft lottery in 70s saved my azz getting drafted and going to Vietnam, ill pardon him <chuckle>
