Senate
« on: January 08, 2021, 12:02:40 pm »
Members are resigning, jumping ship and chastising trump. Are we surprised? trump was impeached. The house impeached trump. He was one of three presidents that have been impeached. So many people cling to thoughts other than he was impeached but the truth is that trump was impeached. All the Senate needed to do was to follow through with the wishes of the citizen majority, carried out by the House, and removed trump from office. It is more than likely that whoever took trump's spot would have taken the pandemic seriously and percentage of the three hundred and sixty five thousand dead Americans (including my mother) would still be alive. Five people died yesterday as a result of a rush on the Capitol after trump continued to lie about the election being stolen. Five people who will not be going home to their families. The blood of these five is on the hands of the Senate members that allowed trump to continue.

Don't we even question the "Majority Rule" anymore? .  I mean there are soooo many people here maybe that rule is obsolete!
Because people follow it without any knowledge of the facts, like this man who "tasered" himself, for instance, I did not get that part of the Death count. Not unusual.

Shame on those of you who are still speaking ill of the greatest president there ever was. I'm ashamed of those of you who do not acknowledge the accomplishments he made and how grueling the "swamp" made his life.  >:(

They are intending to impeach him again, but once again they have no grounds. They hate him and have always hated him and will do anything to get him out of office; even cheat during an election. It makes them happy to know that those impeachments will always be there even though they are without any merit. They still fear him and the power he garnered with the respect and admiration of his supporters.  :notworthy:

Nancy Pelosi  :turkey: and Chuck Schumer  :turkey: just want to smear his name and make sure they never have to deal with him by putting a proviso in the impeachment that he can never become president again.

Our legislators and the media have made a laughing stock of our country. The people that fear him have good reason to fear him. Now just sit back and watch Socialism, Marxism and eventually Communism rear their ugly heads with no hope of a fair election ever again. Relish your victory when Capitalism is just an empty word. Something that used to be a representation of the freedom we once had.  :crybaby2:

The Bible offers a solution to injustice, corruption, and oppression. It describes a government that God has set up in heaven that will replace the failed political and economic systems that lead to protest. A prophecy about the Ruler of this government says: “He will deliver the poor one crying for help, also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper. From oppression and from violence he will redeem their soul.”—Psalm 72:12, 14.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that God’s Kingdom is mankind’s only true hope for a peaceful world. (Matthew 6:9, 10) Thus, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not engage in protests. But is the idea that a government by God could eliminate the reasons for protest unrealistic? It might seem to be. Yet, many have developed confidence in God’s rulership. Why not look into it for yourself?

This year has shown more injustices and criminal behavior being ignored than any since I have been alive, but I have faith that it will pass into history and good will prevail in time.

Clinton was impeached.  But yet he stayed in office.  Bet you were okay with that.  The "citizen majority" did not want Trump removed from office.  As far as "whoever took Trump's spot" - that shows how truly ignorant you are. If the sitting president for whatever reason is unable to complete his term the VICE president steps up to the position of President.  ::)  Not "whoever" takes the spot.

Thank you, Cadence, for trying to provide insight as to what trump has done besides creating the divided states of America. You referenced the wall of which one thousand miles was promised and eighty new miles were completed (roughly three hundred and twenty miles was old wall that was reinforced). This was funded by diverting money from the pentagon under the pretense of a national security emergency after trump had said that Mexico would pay for it. We have seen no pesos traveling from the south as of today. Bringing jobs back to America was another perceived accomplishment. There has been a loss of approximately three point nine million jobs during the current administration as of October 2020. trump did accomplish getting Obama to produce his bona fide birth certificate, was the first president to be nominated for two impeachments, increased national debt by 23 trillion dollars, promoted distrust in science, was dishonest about a virus he knew was deadly with hope of propping up the economy and stock market, kept his infidelity payments secret/paid for tilll he was elected and made friends (kind of) with North Korea while alienating allies.

I think the people who did this were horrible hope they stay in jail along time. Trump didn't tell them to attack  the capital. Still hope he gets impeached then he can't run for office again.

MAGA, BAHAHAHAHA!

It is a shame that many Americans think that putting America First and Making America Great Again are despicable, fiendish, diabolical plans. Hopefully Joe and Kamala will stop short of MADMA (Make America the Door Mat Again).

The majority rules BUT there has to be TRUTH and FACTS in that majority. There isn't. I was listening to the impeachment debate aa couple minutes ago and Rep. Nadler's rhetoric stated the mob had guns and was intent on killing them. Where did that come from or how about they were going to kidnap Pence and hang him and others stated hang Pelosi. How far from the truth is that? He read a story in one of the liberal media. That's all I can figure.  The country is going nuts because of the hate started day one of Trump's presidency. Rep. Al Green introduced  the impeachment resolution seventeen minutes after they convened for business that first day. Pelosi and Schumer did nothing but try to tear down the Republican party and anyone who voted for Trump. They just didn't like the idea that Trump wouldn't bow down to them and be commanded by them. That's what upset them. He didn't need them. They needed him and they did everything they could to destroy him. It is unbelievable how they used their power to destroy Republicans. They ignored the radical protests all over the country calling them peaceful. Now that's sick. This country was a great republic for over 240 years but it's all being destroyed by power and hate.
