Covid Vaccine
« on: April 05, 2021, 09:57:21 am »
Do you know anyone who has taken the covid vaccine?  My friend and his wife both took it.  She had no problems and he is extremely sick from the first dose so doesn't know if he will even take the 2nd.

My husband and I had both shots.  After the first neither of us had any problems.  After the second shot he had none, I had a slight headache (not sure if it was from the shot or from him) 😁 took 2 aspirin and it went away (the headache not him) 🤣

I took the first Covid shot last Thursday.  The only problem I have is a sore arm and large red spot that hurts and itches.  I looked on side effects and it said that it is Covid arm and when I take my second shot tell them so they can use the other arm.

I'm sorry to hear that! I hope he recovers soon.  I have no interest in taking the vaccine for the same reasons I don't get vaccinated for the flu, but I am persistent in being safe and sanitary to prevent getting infected.

Glad to hear that neither of you experienced bad reactions.  I personally don't know anyone who has had the vaccine but I've heard a mixture of both good and bad reviews.

I had a sore arm after the first shot for about a day or two. I am due for my second shot in 11 days. My wife had the same experience.

My husband had his first shot with no effects except a sore arm. He is taking his second tomorrow. I am getting my first tomorrow. I am nervous, but I want to be able to travel and I foresee a requirement for air travel coming.

Update, My husband got his second shot and had no issues at all. I had my first and other than feeling tired later in the day (which may or may not have been from the shot) I felt fine. I didn't even have a sore arm at all. My second shot is in 2 weeks.

I live in a small county in NC. I was in group 5 (no issues and I am 50) so I expected it to be summer before i got it. My husband was in group 1B.  Last week they moved down to group 5 and down to the age of 18. It was much quicker than I thought as muy husband got his second shot on the same day that I got my first.
