J & J vaccine
« on: April 14, 2021, 03:25:48 am »
I just got this shot this past Sunday. I am now hearing about these 6 women who developed blood clots, please keep me in your thoughts  :'(  I thought they discontinued this shot and was surprised that I  was going to receive it when I got there.

all the best to you - I would suggest others in a similar situation skip getting the shot until they have one of the other brands available.

I would not worry about it. All vaccines have the potential to cause reactions, but they are rare. Millions of J&J vaccines have been given. Only 6 people have had problems. It's like winning the lottery. It's not going to happen to you.  ;)

I've been holding off on getting the vaccine for this very reason.  I want to know more about it first.

They do have 2 other vaccines that they claim are safe

If I would have got it I too would be concerned.  But seriously think about it, millions have been given and only 6 reported cases, that’s probably 1 in a million that you would get it.  You probably have better odds in winning the lottery.  Don’t worry I’m sure you are ok 🙏

Thank you Nancy someone else said the same thing. I feel as though I should play the lottery now lol

Agree....6 out of like 7 million cases is very small...nothing is risk free, but no need to hit the panic button yet...

Thank you for the reassurance :)

Don't hold off too long.  The 2 vaccines you need to take will help you.  I hear so many people stating they aren't taking the vaccines and that is a shame.  If you don't care about yourself, then think about the people around you.
