so I am on Keflex for my foot infection but ever since I started them I have had severe toothaches is this normal

I use Sensodyne because of sensitive teeth...it works well!
Just be sure to read the label, there is a limit to how long they recommend you use it.

Sensodyne never worked that well for me (I used it for several years, but my teeth remained pretty sensitive that entire time). But then I switched to Tom's of Maine brand of sensitive toothpaste about 5 or 6 years ago and it has worked like a charm. I have no idea why one worked and the other did not.

There are several home remedies for relieving toothache pain, and one of the oldest and most common is using a cool teabag. Select a type of tea with high amounts of tannic acid—black and green tea are solid choices.

We used this method for my daughter after a tooth extraction and it worked. Seriously.

Checking online, toothaches was not listed as one of the side effects of Keflex. Hope you're feeling better now, hensleyll.  :peace:

Try clove oil or garlic even rinsing your mouth with salt water might help.

I remember Keflex made my teeth pain worse. Not the most fun antibiotic. Get some numbing mouthwash.
