RIP Dwayne Hickman

Dwayne Hickman died at age 87. I loved watching him as Dobie Gillis with Maynard G. Krebbs as his sidekick.

I recall the show well.

I would get a kick out of Dobies dad when his dad said,"I gotta kill that boy".

His counterpart Bob Denver passed in 2005 at 70 yrs old and wound up having a more popular show with Gilligans Island.I think just Tina Louise <Ginger>from GI is only one alive. She is 87.

Tuesday Weld who played Dobies GF is 78 and still alive.I dont blame Dobie for liking her then. She was quite attractive.

I remember this show a little, the life and loves of dobie gillis.  I honestly thought he had passed away years ago.  I had not seen of heard anything about him.    R,I,P.

I hate hearing this one or that one "dies at the age of ___."  Some of them shakes me up when the news that they  are that age makes me feel old and I don't like that and I'm shocked at how old they look if they publish a picture. I still remember them at the age they were when popular.  :)

I get that same feeling, just looking in the mirror!. I remember my mom when she was in her 90's saying she didn't realize she was old until she looked in the mirror.  She lived to be 105!
