Bright lights

It annoys me when people drive behind you with bright lights making it hard to see....not sure if it's people using high beams or just that lights are getting brighter these days in general.

I think it is a mix - people driving with their high beams on but also newer cars have brighter lights

A lot of trucks have headlights that sit higher on the road and I think those lights seem brighter. I just got a new car that has an automatic high beams feature. The sensors can tell when I am on a dark roadway with no street lights and if there are no cars coming in the opposite direction or cars in front of me if will automatically turn on my high beams. But sometimes it seems like it waits a little bit longer than I would myself to turn the beams back down to regular intensity when an opposing car approaches. But it is still nice to have.

I agree, the newer cars have the led and they seem to be a bit brighter.  Some cars are higher so it hits  in your mirror.    Just be safe out there!

I believe the brighter lights are the LEDs that have higher lumens. A quote from online states " the LEDs 'are so bright because they' have bright white light, whereas normal halogen bulbs are going to have a more yellow tint to them in comparison."

I call them "brain piercers." They hurt my eyes too!

yes hate the lights at night in your eyes and wearing glasses is worse. avoid nighttime driving all the time.

I have a newer model vehicle and they put brighter lights on them now.  People think I have my lights on bright but I don't.  I don't ever use my bright lights anymore.
