was on a facebook post for addisons disease. my son has it. anyway someone posted about their 18 yr old was sick. but she i guess it was a she said they woke up feeling sick and we took them to a doctor.  Not saying  she or he. I posted whats up with the they or them,say he or she.  iwas confused and still am.

The whole pronoun thing is crazy!  BTW, my granddog has Addison's disease, and SHE has taken medicine every day to control it, for years!  In English class in the 60's, we were taught to use he/she if unsure of gender.  I guess that has a whole new meaning today.
