The fact is, statistically speaking, this Swine Flu is less likely to kill you than the regular seasonal Flu.

That is, at this moment, factually incorrect.

My son got his shot yesterday and he's fine. It's a load off of my mind that he isn't likely to catch it now.
I made the choice because the CDC , WHO, and every doctor I've spoken to tells me it's safe and necessary. I can't imagine taking the word of random people on the internet, youtube videos, and conspiracy theorists over the medical community that knows what they are talking about. I feel I would be a very irresponsible parent to do that.
I haven't received it myself since I want to be sure the kids and the ones most at risk get it first. When it's my turn I'll gladly roll up my sleeve.

I'm so sick of hearing about this. Anybody that gets this vaccine is stupid IMO. Sorry, I'm not gonna let some random person at a school gym stick me with this concoction scientists created in only a few months. Very little studies and h1n1 is so overrated, it's just the fricken flu! it's not a deadly virus... enless you already sick or have weakened immune system.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I don't think the parents of the kids already dead in our small town of 6500 would agree. Especially since we haven't had a child die of the typical flu for years. I feel sorry for the kids who will pay the price because of ignorant paranoid parents. By the way, the flu mutates every year therefore new vaccines for the next year are always produced quickly.
