What is your favorite Thanksgiving/Christmas/and New Year recipe.

Mine is Collard Greens and the recipe is as follows

Collards( cut into bitesized pieces)
Smoked turkey wings to season
onion
Seasonings (salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic power etc)

I just boil the smoked turkey wings until tender and add in the collards and seasonings and viola--Collard greens.

How about you?

My mother-in-law makes the best buckeyes and poppy seed cake but only does it during Christmas! So I have to wait all year long. But of course she won't give up the secret until she's done doing the big family X-mas dinners lol

my favorite fudge recipie is so simple: microwave 3 cups of chips, any flavor--chocolate, butterschotch, peanut butter etc...., with 1 can of sweetened condensed milk add a pinch of salt. when the chips are melted stir until well blended add nuts if you would like. pour into a greased 8X8 dish and let cool. This only takes about 5 minutes and I have never had this fudge fail.

I have always cooked collard greens with smoked neck bone but a neighbor cooked it with a smoked turkey leg and I like the flavoring this way even better.
