i donno why everyone keeps buying aftermarket pc's.... overpriced and some are just poorly built.

I have a Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop with 200 GB HD. I had it for 4 years. I guess you might consider it old now.   It still works well.

   I have both...free Internet using public computers at other locations where I live.

right now I am upset, I got a new Hp, and it is working great, I try to hook up my xbox live, my wii to my router and all of a sudden my dell laptop quit working, I haven't had it for 2 weeks yet, I bought it at a wholesale place so I cannot take it back, I am so upset by this, I don't understand why it dont' pick up the router. I have called numerous tech support for router, the one I bought they charge me money, and then other people, no one can fix.

I have a year old e.machines with winxp on it. I got it just before they stopped making them, I think! I'm a sucker for the tried and true I guess.

I have a Dell desktop with XP processer.

Just bought a Dell Laptop with Windows 7 and I am having problems getting a dial-up modem that works with Windows 7.  Been for over a month, but still trying.
