I guess I would eat last . I guess I would have to wash by hands!!
-
Seriously, it's the one appliance I could live without. I never have liked them because I prefer to wash by hand.
-
:bootyshake: I've NEVER had a dishwasher.. but myself!!!
-
I am definitely thankful for my dishwasher. I think I would be eating out a lot if I didn't have one, and then I would have to make FusionCash a full time job! ;)
-
I don't even use mine. I'm usually only cooking for myself. I'm so used to hand washing that that's what I do.
-
The only appliances I really need are my stove, microwave, and my beloved fridge! :bootyshake:
-
i would have the nastiest hands ,, my hands get so dried out from the dish soap,,
-
eat on paper plates and drink coke in cans - no, not really, i would wash the dishes, I just hate having to wash dishes and I dont think they're clean without the sanitation process
-
Im with you strumcat, we have one but disconnected it and use our hands. It takes us too long to dirty enough dishes for it anyway, they would have to sit in the dishwasher for days before it was full enough to run a cycle.
-
Use a ton of Styrofoam. : |
-
I would have to start using paper plates and cups. I hate doing dishes. I love my dishwasher.
-
I'm not a dishwasher guy. I prefer to just wash my dishes manually.
-
I haven't had a dishwasher in years. Its not been a problem. Besides, you have to rinse the dishes before you put them in anyway and sometimes they don't don't get them all the way clean.
-
 I have one but I lived without one for years. It came with the house and I like it but most of the time I wash my dishes by hand. I live alone so I don't do much cooking unless company's coming. Then I'm glad I have that dishwasher. :)

A dishwasher is probably one appliance I could live without and not think twice. I prefer to do dishes by hand; call me crazy but I find it relaxing!

hahaha oddly enough I find myself tending to whistle a little tune while doing the dishes by hand ;D

I love my dishwasher!!! I dont know what I would do without it.
-
Yes, doing dishes by hand can be relaxing and there is a reason for that. In the act of doing the dishes, you unknowingly activate certain pressure points on your hands that induce endorphines in your brain...that is if you're not fighting the feeling as in 'don't want to do it just now.'

I don't have one so i wouldn't miss it
-
We don't have a dishwasher so we have to do them by hand.
-
I'd be fine without one. Always had one but never used it.
-
Continue to do my dishes by hand. ;)

I do just fine without a dishwasher, I hand wash all my dishes and never owned a dishwasher. I often wonder does a dishwasher make your life better, would it make my life easier? I hope one day to own a dishwasher, but until then I am the offical dishwasher of my household, lol. :)

Me too I break out from some of the ones that have lemon or orange or grapefruit in them. Plus if i didnt have my dish washer I wouldnt be able to cook/bake and wash the dishes at the same time. When i get on my baking sprees the dish washer is going like all day long.

I am the dishwasher. I hate using a dishwasher and I never use it.
-
I used to have a nice one. When I moved I became the dishwasher. Is suxxxxx. That is life tho. It could be worse.
-
THE SAME THING I DID BEFORE, WASH BY HAND.....LOL
-
All while growing up I never had a dishwasher, and now as an adult I still have never had one. Washing dishes by hand really isn't all that bad... unless you have a bunch of people over for a dinner, and then you wish you had one. The fact is, I have seen my in-laws soaking, scrubbing pans, pots, plates, forks and what not with gooey or baked on food before they put them in the machine to ensure the food will come off. And even then, I've been there and they had to run some items through again! If you have to go through that anyway, why not just use a little soap and wash them by hand? Seems pointless to me. :dontknow:
I do concur what a few others said in that dishwashing by hand can really dry the hands out, especially in the winter. I guess that's why they make moisturizing lotion.

Enlist the help of my 13 year old and the rest of the family

I have a similar dishwasher lol her name is Sarah and she is 15 lol needless to say she hates doing them. lol

I love my dishwasher so If I didn't have one I think I would be using more paper plates and plastic cups and plastic ware spoons and forks. Of course everything couldn't be paper and plastic so I would have to hand wash too... Luckily I am not giving up my dishwasher
-
I don't really care for the dishwasher id rather wash them myself
-
I have learned to live without one since we moved to RV living. It does require doing dishes often as there is not a lot of kitchen space. I missed it most at Thanksgiving when I wished that I could just rinse and hide the dishes in the dishwasher :D !!
-
Don't have one, I wish I did! Kids create lots of dishes and I cook a lot!
-
I don't have a dishwasher, so I guess its a moot point. I really don't particularly like dishwashers-use too much water. Years ago when I lived in a condo I had the dishwasher removed because for me it was taking up too much space.
-
::) I have one but I don't use it, I use my own hands
-
don't use the dishwasher, use paper plates
-
I don't have a dishwasher nor have I ever so I guess I would wash by hand like I do now!
-
I'd miss the dishwasher for sure, but I grew up without one, so it wouldn't be a big deal.
-
I would wash them by hand till we bought a new one.
