Lately I have so many bills and responsibilities. So many things that seem to be going wrong all at once. What are the different ways you all overcome things or get through the hard times?

Letting go & living a simple life.

Accomplish one thing at a time, by managing your time and effort. Make a list of all the things you need/have to do and finish them one by one. As the list gets shorter, things get easier.

well said
stream-line things, take control and effective time management can go a LONG way
just like anything, you practice it for long enough, then it becomes the norm

I would LOVE an answer to this question, I feel as if my entire world is crashing down around me lately. Staying positive is begining to get a bit hard... :sad1:

The list mentioned earlier is a good idea. Make a list of everything that is affecting you and prioritize it. You may even be able to let some things go. Let the list keep track of everything, instead of dwelling on and remembering everything in your head. Cross off each item as it becomes finished or no longer a worry. You will get a sense of accomplishment when you see things being taken care of or are no longer a worry. Just about everybody can relate. I remember about two years ago, I had way too much to deal with all at once, but I tried to keep myself in check, as I knew that eventually all of this would be over with a bit later down the road.

there is beauty in knowing that tomorrow is a whole new future.
every day we wake up is simply life opening up the window of opportunities. knowing how to effectively utilize them is another matter entirely.
i like that someone mentioned a list and prioritizing, i would be lost without lists. too much floating around in my mind to NOT keep it organized.
you never know what is around the next corner, and believe me, if you are patient and open to things happening, you will be surprised just what may be waiting for you

Just take everything one day at a time. Thats really all you can do sometimes.

For me it's about realizing you have a responsibility for whatever you"re doing. The consequences of not doing it is what keeps me motivated.

Keep your head up! It will get better!

 Exactly ONE DAY AT A TIME - AND PRAYER DOES WONDERS ! God will lead you. Relax and think about the positive things in your life. Can you walk? Can you feed yourself? Can you move? Can you speak ? All these are blessings ! Remember there are people out there that wish they could do any of these even if they had bills to pay. If we have bills thank God - We have electricity, all utilities, we have a car, a home, - if we didn't have any of these then we would have a hard life. :notworthy:

And this too shall pass. Nothing lasts. I remember this when it seems like things are all happening at once.

:) Never give up when everything seems to be going wrong! Keep trying!

I know that things are going to get better

I have to have my pity party first -----the regroup and try it again.....I always have to stop and count my Blessings and then realize things aren't really that bad....

nothing is wrong - it just isn't what you wanted it to be - if you live to be 100 years old - that's only about 36500 days - the average roman lived only about 40 years - that's only about 14600 days - prospective - your future - that is the only thing you might be able to change - i've lived 66 years - my mother 67 years - my father 94 years - think about it - is a long life important or doing what you need to do - i will always be a 3 year old in prospective not a matter of my age - the only time you have no worries, fears or concerns is at 3 years old - the only time you are free to be yourself not what others expect you to be - just be your self - live life - enjoy the good and the bad - it is still your life - be responsible for it - it is the only one you have - when your dead - your dead - why, not be alive totally now - - IMHO >> In My Humble Opinion - The MUSEUM, Zazzle, deviantART, ArtFire, FineArtAmerica
