Title: Birthday Parties

Do you like birthday parties?  I am preparing to go to a party for my neice.  She is turning 1..... I am NOT looking forward to the whining children that don't get their way, or the messy birthday cake that my son will undoubtly put on my clothes or my face.  I am not looking forward to the crying, the fighting of the adults.....

I love my neice and she is as cute as a button; and I know my son will enjoy being with her and the other kids -- I'm just certain that it will be a long afternoon.

What do you like most or least about birthday parties?

I never throw a party for myself or others, atleast not in the last 3 years.  This recession has changed many things I do.
