Title: Spam?
Post by: Alphasee on January 01, 2010, 11:00:03 pm
There should be a five word minimum enforced. srsly. Four whitespaces after four words, and a fifth one for good measure. The stupid religious postings and the one and two word responses are  :bs:

Minimum word requirement to post.

IE I must post least:
"I agree with everything you said"

Not

"Yeah!"

It would be a good way to eliminate all the one word replies that people post in hopes to get their 30 post credit.

I find the redundancy of the same topic / offers of the same issues more irritating   ;D

Some probably do not like to utilize the Search tab too much...

If there was a dedicated thread that is pinned up for each topic such as the $5 Bonus, MyThoughtsCount, GiveUsYour2Cents, Paid To Click, & etc ; the forum will look less cluttered and more organized.

As for the different offers, any threads created after the original poster has started should be merged to his/her thread.  That way everyone can read the feedbacks from various users who has attempted and completed it with success.

Glancing at the threads, it will probably take quite some time, but not impossible if you take a step at a time.

Just a thought

I see some one word posts that make more sense than many who post several sentences. It's quality that makes the difference, not quantity.

There are also people who insist on making one word replies to every single thread in hopes of getting their credit that way and all it creates is clutter.

Also, it would be wonderful if there was a way to combine all the posts on the same subject into one. IE all the posts about Elitemate crediting or not would be in one single thread.

Per FC rules 1 word sentences are not acceptable and you will not receive your bonus.  Something to think about.

These issues are covered in numerous threads, in the FAQ, Terms of Service, and all over the site, as well.  If someone hasn't read it by the time they get to the forum, they're not going to read a sticky about it.  It will always be easier to just click "POST" and type a question than it is to search for 2 minutes.

I have to agree with oldbuddy. Some posts don't require a huge thought out paragraph or even a big sentence. Some topics people have created for fun and only require a small response. I'm sure these people don't think posting "yeah" to a post is going to count for their monthly bonus and if so..apparently they didn't read. :P

Oh god the hilarious irony!  The original post stated a 5 word minimum, and you posted 4 words to agree!
