my step grandpa was a plumber -- he swore that if you put the roll on with the toilet paper "over" than you were sure to use less paper and therefore cause less back ups!  :)

Definitely over.  It's much less likely to then dangle down and look kind of sloppy.  :P

It just makes much more sense to have it over. Pretty sure that is the way it was meant to be in the first place.
With it under you have the paper hanging close to the cabinet and it looks messy.

Over, something about it being under bothers me. Like you have to pull it up and out. Lol I only pay attention to this because it's just me and my husband. Which one of us do you think changes it the most?
