Title: So how's the job prospects for everyone here?

I've been hearing that the temp sector might pick up, given how many companies are afraid of doing any real hiring; if anything, it's more like a cheaper trial run with workers, paid essentially to prove their worth around their work environment. Your thoughts?

 :)  I am not counting on any employers/companies for my income this year...I am starting my own business! The way the worldwide economies are going these days...other people feel the same way.

You may have a point here. Thanks for the info. The only good thing I could think of is that you get the opportunity to experience all kinds of work environment in various industries and hopefully pick up some new skills. It's discouraging to see the same want ads from the same company as they never seem to be able to make up their minds to hire or not to hire.
