Eating stuffed crust Pizza Hut pizza with chocolate dunkers and listening to White Pearl, Black Oceans by Sonata Arctica (obscure song, I know) brings back amazing memories.
What I would give to go back to those days forever...

Every time I smell a freshly paved street or tar I'm brought back to the memories of the summers I spent with my cousins down south up until the time I was 16. The street they lived on wasn't paved for several years. Then finally they paved it.

the smell of bread baking makes me think of my great grandmother, and how she use to tear some rolls up in the kitchen. mmmmmmmmhmmmmmm ;D

The smell of the ocean will always resonate with me. I worked doing sea turtle research for three summers during and after my college career and will never forget it. It was one of the best and most harmonious times in my life. The sand, the sun, surrounded by nature, you just can't beat it. Sea turtles are amazing creatures, to see the females coming out of the ocean on a moonlight night to secure the future of their species is a sight you cannot forget. I am in the military now, looking to get my 20 years in, retire, and then go back to my laid back life on the beach, doing what I love most...

smell: inflatable plasic pool toys and coppertone
water babies sun screen. they remind me so much
of summers as a little girl.
hawaiian ginger (calgon brand) body spray
makes me think of seventh grade. i'm not sure if its
a "great" memory, but its a very strong sense-memory
scent for me!
also, djarum blacks (the clove cigarettes)
are very "scentamental" to me 8)
taste: crackers and apple juice = instant kindergarten.
sugar cookies with royal icing reminds me of childhood too.
sound: 1930s-40s romantic jazz music, even just
instrumental, calms me like no other music can. i can almost
faintly remember it from a past life maybe? or maybe i just
pretend i can. i don't know... but it does something to me.

I love body sprays and there is one called Vanilla Amber Musk by Bodycology. I just sprayed some on and it instantly reminded me of the summertime and walking on the beach. It really is amazing what smells, tastes, and sounds bring back memories. 8)

Charcoal barbeques...remind me of summer. Also burning pine firewood reminds me of camping and bonfires at the beach. Fresh cut grass reminds me of baseball. Fluffy white cumulus clouds remind me of soaring.

I always get freaked out when I smell something that brings me to an old memory lol...I think it is sooo weird. I was just thinking about it the other day when I was washing the dishes with my apple soap and I remembered being in 8th and using my apple body spray. lol

but there are countless times a fragrance/aroma/odor stops me dead in my tracks and deja vu kicks in

Oddly enough, the only smell that really invokes feelings in me is the air in Israel. Everytime i visit and take a breath, i just feel warm and fuzzy inside, and it reminds me of younger days.
I say oddly enough cause i don't really like being there, lol. I'm one of them agnostic jews.

I dont know if anyone has been on the E.T. Adventures ride at Universal Studios, but the smell of the forest is the most amazing smell EVER! It smells soooooooo CLEAN! The smell is from the fog , but I go on the ride, JUST for the smell! lol

Lol, i remember being on that ride years ago. E.T. scared the crap out of me...still does, in fact, lol.

Fudge brings back childhood memories of our trips to the beach.

Whenever I smell Kerosene in lamps it bring back fond memories of my Great Grandmother. She burned them in every room. She would always have the hot "real" hot dogs and ice cream in cones. Those were the great days for me.

When I hear the voice in English and Spanish on the tram ride at the Orlando International Airport. It reminds me of how much I love Florida.

that's funny because for most people that "smell" or cannabis actually makes you forget stuff! :)

The smell and taste of grape Bubble Yum Bubble Gum brings back fond childhood memories :thumbsup: I always got that as a special treat if I was good
