i play and i must admit i too am an addict. i am level 67 and have over 120 neighbors. i have almost all of the blue ribbons, really trying to get mastery signs for all the crops, and trying to get 3 more pink patch calves to round out my collection. :) and zynga's even got me hooked so bad that i even started playing mafia wars just to be able to get the hot rod vehicles for my farm.

I've never played it... I used to be hooked on other Facebook games (Mafia Wars, Vampire Wars, etc.) but soon I just got bored with them. You just seemed to be doing the same thing over and over and it became more of a mindless waste of time. I also didn't like how much of the game was dependant on how many allies you could get. My Facebook "friends" started being people from all over the world that I had nothing in common with except that we played the same game, instead of having my actual friends in RL that would talk about the upcoming concert that we're all going to on the weekend. Plus my work-load started getting to be a bit much so I wasn't able to afford that much time to pursue it.

I've got a friend at work that plays, but he's saying that after awhile it gets difficult to do without some "clicker" program -- that the farm gets too big to try clicking on each crop yourself. But the clicker programs are screen-scrapers so he doesn't want to use those for fear that a hacker will use it to gain passwords or other sensitive information.

Is this true that the clicking gets to be too much to handle after awhile?
