well the only difference is the iphone one can make phone calls

Depends on what you want. If you're happy with your current phone, get a touch. If you want to upgrade your phone, get an iphone. Make sure you look at the cost of minutes, data, texts, etc. of your options and do what is best for you.

Depends, if u wanna pay 30$ a month for the iphone plan.  Or get and ipod touch and not pay for internet.  Iphone gas 3g,  I pod touch has wifi.  I phone has camera.  I pod touch doesn't.

Well, obviously, the IPhone is better, but it's whats better for you that really counts. I have an Ipod Touch because it is cheaper, and there's no need to pay each month so supply it either. But with an IPhone, there's already built-in microphone and you can connect to the internet from anywhere....some apps were made for that... it's up to you.

I like the online access everywhere for the iPhone, but the price tag kills it.  I have a palm pre from sprint which has everything except a good app store and it's half the monthly price, so I'll just stick with my iPod touch :P
