Lately i've been wondering about some medicines that have been released. It seems like it's always a commercial on t.v. about medicines on recall or medicines killing people or causing worst side effects, worst than what you started out with. I don't really like to take
medicine unless it's really extreme. I'm talking about even if i have a headache i try to let it go away on it's own or i do a remedy i got from my grandad where you suck on mustard.
it really works. I take vitamins and herbs and just try to eat healthy. I just feel that we should try not to rely on medicines so much.

Well i heard a story in the newspaper that said that vitamins can actually kill, because some have very high amounts of 2 or more vitamins can be unhealthy if to much is ingested. So now I am looking into that At the moment i think that is fake.FAKE :sad1:

even things that are good for you (ie vitamins) can be dangerous if taken in MEGA doses.
You should ALWAYS try to stay around 100% of your recommended needs (especially Vitamin A, D, E, K)
Vitamins ADEK are all fat soluble and stay in your body a lot longer and can generally be more dangerous than the water soluble vitamins; however, you should still NOT consume mega does of ANY vitamins.
Minerals (calcium, zinc, iron, etc) are also VERY dangerous if consumed in large quantities.

Lately I Wonder If doctor's really care about you or do they care about the mighty dollar. It's hard to tell anymore. Some do and some don't.

I never take medicine unless I really really feel it's necessary...like, if I have a killer headache before an exam or something...otherwise, I try natural behavior and such....I also take daily vitamins too....I think in general medicines can help, but you can't be dependent or be taking too many-then it becomes bad....

more often I feel like Dr. just don't think we'll do what they tell us.
pills are often preceived to be "easier" than changing behavior (dieting, exercise, stop smoking, etc)
