"If everyone on the planet lived my lifestyle, we would need: 6.20 Earths"
Oh snap! I'm not that bad when it comes to being green, but I'm not that good either! :-X
Your quiz result page defaulted to 0.00 Earths, btw.

Mine was 2.56, guess I still have some work to do as well.
Hopefully this will simply get some to think about ways to make less of a negative impact. No matter the reduction one makes it is never too little.

I think it's because I put that I travel 10,000 miles by airplane for foreign travel, which may be too high. :dontknow:
-
Here is mine. If everyone on the planet lived my lifestyle, we would need:
= 5.37 Earths
Not the greatest. I need to work on it a bit.
-
I was a bit surprised with mine, as I am totally off grid, heat and cook(in cooler months) with a wood stove and raise or hunt/forage for most of my groceries and drive less then 450 miles a month, of course my war pony is a F250 with a high performance big block 390 in it........Can't replace that tho because I have a 40 foot 5th wheel travel trailer that I may decide to move again one day, LOL.

My ecological carbon footprint is 2.75 Earths. :peace: I think I can bring it down a bit more by minimizing the electricity use by unplugging chords when not in use. :)

Does anyone else even really live on your world?....just kidding just kidding.....really.
-
Okay, I did it again because I'm pretty sure I over-estimated some of the numbers and I still got 5.38 Earths. :crybaby2: We're screwed!!
I'm surprised it didn't have any questions on the number of kids you have, as diapers alone contribute to so much landfill space...

5.27 earths. The toughest part is winter. Our electric bill was insane.
-
Mine is 2.27. I am wondering if that has to do with having a large (just under 3,000 sq. ft.) 4 bedroom home? I have to think the calculator is 'assuming' I heat the entire thing in the winter, which I don't. I close off rooms unless kids/guests are coming to stay. Yeah, I am nice enough to allow them heat, especially the grandkids. ;D I say this because my year round natural gas bill/ budget plan is only $92 and our winters are brutally cold here. I also recycle pretty much everything, could do a lot better on that, and I compost a lot through the year too - great for my garden and the neighbors.
Thanks for putting that up, walksalone! I think it's cool and useful for us to be able to see how much we take up. I saw your results @ 0.00 too and wondered how you were still alive....... :D

No, mine was 2.56 if I remember correctly now. I posted it in an earlier post. You are doing excellent I think considering the size of your home etc. I live in my RV and am off grid with solar power etc, buy hardly nothing at all (anti-capitalist/anti/consumer as much as possible without going completely Abo.)recycle etc etc. I'm thinking perhaps the wood smoke may be part of the cause of my higher then I expected result as well of course there is my gas *bleep* war pony ;0)
