First thing you need to go to your local drug store or grocery store or corner  store and pick up a Re-loadable Visa or Mastercard. Then you need to wait to get it in the mail. Usually 7-10 business days after you call and activate it. Then you will receive a direct deposit slip in the envelope. Enter that on the fusion cash site. Use direct deposit, it free, safe, and the check always clears.

Today with all of the internet scams it is getting harder and harder to cash checks and money orders from online sales thanks to the people that ruin it for everyone else.

As for the check, you can go to the bank it is drawn on or, go to the bank and use that check to start a bank account and use that account for your direct deposit. Solve the check problem so you are squared away for the next month.

I hope this helps you.

no no no both of those you have to pay for the card.... just go to obopay.com   it's a prepaid debit card and they put 10.00 on it for you getting their card. it's tru citi bank. then use that to direct depo all your other payments... now as far as the check you have now... try a food store. the bigger ones cash check most times. if they won't do it ask them if they know where you can cash it.

I "believe" there's a monthly charge for their services too.
Both with oBopay and GreenDot.
They both have similar TOS, yet GreenDot also charges you an additional
charge to buy every loadable card after you purchase an empty card first,
along with a monthly charge.
Whereas Obopay gives you the card (free) with $10.00 added to start it
(for now) yet they will charge you a monthly fee thereafter, if I am correct.
Check into that first. ;)
Just a "head's up."

Why not just open a Paypal account and then transfer the money from Paypal to your bank. It is fast easy and best of all it is Free.  Or what you could do is just have the Chech Directly Deposited in your bank account electronicly.  This site offers Direct Deposit and also Paypal so try that out and I am sure you will not have that trouble any more.  Just remember why pay for some thing when you can get it free.

I agree, but some people may not have bank access,
OR prefer to use prepaid cards online due to identity theft, etc.
While some companies don't allow prepaid cards to begin with.

Another option for them would be to go to the bank where the check
originated from. But they may deduct a charge from it,
for not having an account with them.

Also, with PayPal they don't get an actual debit card,
but they can spend the money online with eBay etc. (some fees may apply)

I prefer either Direct Deposit if I trust the company enough, (not many)
OR have PayPal intercede with some that I may question.  :bunny:

PayPal does/doesn't charge for their service: depending upon
"the type of account" you have established with them.  ;)

When another site I am a member of deposits my money onto PayPal, there is a fee of 2% plus 30 cents.  FC deposits do not incur those charges because FC pays as a mass payment to PayPal....therefore, FC is picking up the fees.

So, yes, there is a fee when having money deposited into your PayPal account, but not for anything else.

And it depends upon THE TYPE of account YOU have with PayPal.
I haven't EVER been charged once for ANY deposit/exchange
with PayPal from any of MANY sites, while a friend of mine has
been charged from PayPal with some of the same sites.
