My daughter is looking for a good cheap place to buy her kids school clothes. Her husband has been in the hospital and she can't work. I know Walmart and Kmart are pretty good. Just want to know if you know any where else.
Thanks

Depends on the ages. Forever21 has really good sales that are great for teens, they have for guys too.
Kohls, Target and JC Penney are constantly having sales and take percentages off their clearance sections as well. I actually just bought skinny jeans from both JCPenney & Forever21 around $8 each, shipped. They have kids clothes too if they're smaller. Walmart has some nice things like $1 leggings and shirts for $3 but you have to constantly check the stores because sometimes they jack up the prices and put them out as 'sales'. Marshalls, Savers, TJ Maxx, Salvation Army, any local thrift stores are great too! You just have to look them over for any sewing mistakes or hidden holes; it's not usual but sometimes you get stuck with the odd one. I pretty much haunt my local Savers & Salvation Army, lately I have been seeing a lot of teens and other back-to-school shoppers.

Personally, I think Stein Mart has the BEST prices....I buy about ALL my clothes there...prob is I don't have one here..so when I'm on vacation, I see if there is one nearby :D

Target, JC Penney, Sears, and thats all I can think of right now.

Rummage sales and thrift shops have some really good stuff sometimes. I have found my daughter alot of cloths that still had the orginal tags on them. Sometimes people buy the cloths and never wear it.

JcPenney is definitely good and I love Burlington Coat Factory (it's got way more than coats). ;)

I am not quite sure where you live, but in mississippi we have a store call dirt cheap that has reasonable clothes. :bootyshake:

I always check the ads to see who has clothes on sale before we go, some stores will match prices up to 10% just to make a sale. I do like going to sears.wal-art, k-mart. I love the 2nd-hand stores.

Most kids don't want their clothes from walmart or kmart, or that would be a win win situation, gordmans, kohls and old navy, jcpenny. look for sales is your best bet.

Try thrift stores like Goodwill...they have a lot of clothes.

Old Navy is usually pretty reasonable for kids' clothes, I think. For teens, I would try Rue 21 if you have one! Everything on sale here right now is $3-$8! Not too shabby!

Hudson's Dirt Cheap and Treasure Hunts are the best. Every time I'm in MS or LA I go to every one I can.

gabriel brothers is great, so is ebay! you can easily
find people selling clothing lots (like 10 pair of jeans
or 5 shirts, all the same size, which come in handy!)
i buy from salvation army, goodwill, other thrift stores
all the time. you have to spend some time looking, but
you can take $50 in a thrift store and come out with
bags full of gently used, or even new things!
i get compliments on my clothes/accessories all the time
and its usually from a thrift store

i have found that upscale second hand shops are great and inexpensive

Old Navy and Ross.

Depending on where you live, plato's closest. Not everywhere has one yet though.

Bealls outlet has 95% off sales but I am not sure if she has that where she is..If not thrift stores can be good for great finds cheap.. ;D

Well in the area I live, we have Forman Mills. They sell authentic name brand clothing for cheap and they have a wide array of school uniforms as well. For now, they only have stores in Philadelphia, south jersey, and i think in the state of Delaware. They've been around for years but only in my tri-state area. Hopefully, they can expand so that everyone else gets a chance to buy from them.

Kohl's, Target and Walmart have great prices on their clearance racks. TJ Maxx, Ross and Marshalls have good deals on clothes too but you have to really look thru everything.

@Shutmeup3030150 - I have a few, haven't been to it yet. Keep hearing radio advertisements, though.

i think walmart, is a good place ,,to buy school clothes . you can also shop at thift stores ,they are very popular now. there are great clothes,at very affortable prices.
-
I would say Target for every day prices. Also get a sunday paper and look for coupons for JC penny and also macy's coupons.
-
:cat: I noticed the other day that Family Dollar has a lot of clothes for children through adults at very low prices.

 Go online at all the retail store websites and check out the clearance stuff. I've bought some really nice stuff that way.. Also, try to go to Salvation Army in the morning just after they put stuff out. You can also find yard sale clothes real cheap too.. But if you just want the new stuff, like most kids want, just try places like Target or Walmart. GOOD LUCK!!!!
