Is anyone ready for winter? If I was still in FLA I wouldn't mind it but I'm in KY and the ice and snow really s..ks. But, I can look forward to all of the housework I've put off all summer. Well, folks, be carefull out there!

Ug... in the northern midwest, the weather's so extreme - the summer is nice because it's warm, but the humidity makes it feel like it's ten degrees hotter! So if the temperature is 91, it'll be shown here as 101! As soon as you go outside, you immediately start sweating, and it makes everyone look and feel gross. But, winter has the sae amount of dampness, so the cold becomes the sort of painful, biting chill that seeps into our clothes! It's impossible to get warm unless you continually change clothes throughout the day! :(

I am so ready for cooler weather...It has been a really hot summer!

I really like summer. Many people are bothered by humidity, but for some reason it doesn't seem to bother me.
The days are getting shorter and cooler. Fall is very nice too.
Winter is COLD. I am grateful that I work indoors so other than the walk between my vehicle and the buildings, I don't have to be out in the cold too much.

I am definitely not ready for winter. It gets very cold here in Illinois and we get tons of snow that seems to never let up. I would to move to a state that has warm weather throughout the year.

Not ready for winter at all. We get lots of snow and ice here, and the skies are grey for 5+ months. Very depressing.

I hate winter I'm never ready. I hate cold weather and snow and I hate it when the sun sets at 5pm. I hate it!

i love cold weather and would love a nice cold snowy winter. but i live in southern california so our winters are never like that.

I am not a fan of the winter at all, but this summer has been brutal. The past winter was brutal also. I usually do not mind the heat and humidity that much, but it has been too much to bear. I live in PA. I have only had the air conditioning on hardly at all, since I have been out of work and I have to keep the bills down. There has been so many days of 90 plus degrees, it's been hard to get a break from that weather. Here we go again, this week we have had 4 days so far of 90 plus degrees.
I guess I am looking forward to things cooling down.

Winter yuck...lets not skip my favorite season fall :) I cant stand the winter the first couple snows are alright but after that Im ready for spring lol. My kid would be happy if it snowed year round though.

Yuck, please no. I'm already getting down about summer quickly coming to an end. I want to enjoy these last three weeks or so without even thinking about that dreaded six letter word coming up in December. While I understand the necessities of winter, I don't have to like it. :P

I guess I'm the "Odd Man Out" - I like the Cold Months 8)
If you're Cold, you can put on extra layers, hat, gloves, scarf etc :P
In the Summer, who is able to stay in a cool air conditioned place all the time :dontknow: Also, the heat & humidity makes people irritable @ times :BangHead:

Well I think most of us agree, if it weren't for needing cold weather to kill the bugs we'd all be trying to figure out how to get rid of it! Good luck all of you.

Heck no I ain't ready for Winter! September just got here...I do love Autumn though...I wish winter temperatures were more like fall temperatures here in Michigan.

I am ready for winter all year long...unfortunately it never really comes where I live. It gets cooler but never really very cold and it never snows :crybaby2:
I HATE hot weather and I especially hate summer where I live, it's dreadfully hot. The kids can't even go outside and play for 5 mins without being near serious heat stroke! I love cold weather, I love wearing big sweaters and cuddling next to a fireplace. To me it's insane to like hot weather lol.

I'm never ready for winter. I dread the cold and snow, especially driving to work every day. And this winter I'll be going to work an hour earlier than usual, because of a job change, so that will be even worse because the plows don't come by that early.

Winter is a coming and I quess I'm as ready as I can be.
