To be honest with you that can be done with peroxide.

Any one can come up with a story. They dont show any picts of the kitten when it was younger either to show that it was there from birth. Sorry I just dont believe everything I see or read.

I am not doubting your believes.
Peroxide does indeed bleach out n animals fur that is what we use on them to get the skunk smell out of them when they play with skunks. Animals fur is different than human hair.
And I also never said they did that just that I had doubts as to whether or not it was a natural effect.

Even IF the cat was born that way, anyone with a basic knowledge of science knows that our brains are built to see PATTERNS and FACES, even in ordinary objects. It doesn't mean there is a god, it just means you have a somewhat functional brain.

I am amazed at cats anyway and birds and butterflies. How could you think God didn't do that. Have you ever looked close up at a butterfly-how beautiful the markings. OR a cat-how beautiful the markings? Don't you find it amazing how animals and insects have defense mechanisms. Have you ever seen a spider take his giant web down every morning and build it back at night all summer? Aren't you simply amazed at the fact that someone wants a baby so bad and doctors alll say it's not possible and a few months later they're pregnant. And then you watch that precious miracle grow day by day (all babies) and see how soon and young he watches and learns so much.
I can only see God when I see any of these things and so much more.

I believe in all kinds of things. What I had said was basically that thru technology it makes some things harder to believe. anything can be altered to be made believable. So I guess that means I am a sceptic lol. Animals are a part of me. I feel magic in nature and around animals that most dont even pay attention to. A woman being told she can not have a child but does so any ways? This I have seen several times but then I also do not have trust in doctors that much.

Sometimes it does not hurt to actually listen to another persons point of view. With you though it is hard to tell because I have seen you switch back and forth between a god and no god issues. I am not doubting you in your opinion of him and to most he is there. I have come to trust in myself and those around me. I know everything happens for a reason. I am the one that can get myself a job I am the one that can get myself a place to live I am the one that gets my food. And for most of the things I receive from all of this I thank the animals and the plants that had to give their lives for me to be able to survive. You may say that HE is the reason they are here but I believe more in Evolution.

Actually was not that far off the topic. But I will leave you be as long as you leave me and my opinions be. To you there is a certain G.. To me there is another. I just do not have faith in the pict that you linked that it was the act of HIM. That is what we were all discussing.

Thank you, Lusie! It is in my opinion that viewing this life as "the doormat where you wipe your feet before getting to your real life" (a.k.a. heaven) is what REALLY sucks all the beauty of of life.
That and having Heavenly Father wave his magic wand 7 times to create everything instead of our rich, shared heritage through evolution.

so then you could also understand and scientifically have an answer to why people believe in God or choose to believe in God and it has nothing to do with how intelligent or unintelligent someone is.
It's quite simple: remember that most of today's religions got started before cars, before electricity, before the Internet, before modern medicine...and back then it was quite commonplace to invent god(s) for the events our ancestors couldn't explain. People used to fervently believe in gods that threw lightning, but those gods are dead now. Why? Because we know now how lightning actually works!
Also, religion is like a mind virus. Most people are pretty sucky at dealing with their own mortality, and religions offers the perfect (albeit false) distraction. Wondering why other animals don't have gods or worry about the afterlife? It's because their brains haven't evolved to the degree of awareness that we have yet.
Our advanced intelligence got to the point that we realized, "This life is all I have?? I don't want that! That can't be right!! Let me just say there's this happy place you go after you die; yeah, that sounds good!"

That is a great example of the God of the gaps argument in use.
a) There is a gap in understanding of or being able to explain some aspect of the natural or scientific world.
So they move on to:
b) Then that proves the cause and explanation must be supernatural ie from god.

I personally don't think this cat having "cat" on it means that there is a God. Just like I don't believe seeing Jesus' face on a potato chip means it was God's doing. Its just coincidence. I do think this was pretty cool though

What kind of two bit magician do you think your god is?! LMAO. A cat - with patterns in it's fur - that kind of looks like it says cat! That is probably the weakest and most irrelevant argument anyone has ever made for the existence of god. Congratulations. The kitten is adorable tho! It sure put a smile on this atheists face. The world really is a beautiful place.
P.S. Brush up on statistics and then consider how many kittens have been born. And photographed. Refer to lolcats if necessary. Laugh heartily. At yourself.
