We celebrate all hallows eve, we eat on Thanksgiving THOUGH we do not celebrate it. Mindless slaughtering!!!! The girls open presents on Christmas, and we always have an easter egg hunt in our back yard. Birthday parties are the biggest I would have to say.

I celebrate Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, Purim, Pesach, and Shabbat.  We observe Chanukah by lighting the menorah and eating latkes with cinnamon applesauce.

We also celebrate Christmas and Easter with my husband's family (we are an interfaith marriage).

We do Thanksgiving (one of my favorites, because it falls right around my birthday and I always helped my mom prepare the meal...it was our day together).

We also do mom's day and dad's day, grandparent's day, anniversaries, and birthdays.

Memorial day is a big one as well.  I go and clean the headstones with windex and we make sure the graves are mowed (private family cemetery).  I make sure we send out veteran's day cards as well since there are vets on both sides of the family.

Basically...any excuse to celebrate, we take advantage of it!
