I love the winter but the on thing i hate is that the kids can only play out for so long before there all pilling in to get warm and find something to do inside. I don't have a lot of money or space so what are some things you moms out there can suggest for the winter months for kids ages 2-10 yrs. old. I would really appreciate anything you might suggest!! thanks!

I bought some canvases on sale at the local Michael's and set my daughter (who is 2) loose in nothing but her 'lil swimmers with fingerpaints (which I found on sale for $3 for the good crayola ones) and let her paint. I write her name and date on the back and give them as gifts. She also gets to go swimming in the bathtub after.

Have the kids save loose change in a box....then come Christams time..donate the proceeds to a local shelter or give directly to a a person who needs it.
