Post by: GUESSWORKZ on October 27, 2010, 10:49:27 am
SIX MONTHS LATER AFTER THAT TRAGIC OIL SPILL THE GOVERNMENT CLAIMS THE OIL HAS BEEN CLEANED UP BUT RESEARCHERS SAY THEY ARE DISCOVERING LARGE AMOUNTS OF CRUDEBELOW THE SURFACE AND ON THE OCEAN FLOOR. DO YOU THINK THE GOVERNMENT OR BP HAS DONE ENOUGH IN THIS CRISIS?

Would have never happened if the restrictions on shallow drilling or onshore drilling weren't as bad as they are. It's the governments fault for forcing them into a new area of drilling. If they had suspended the Jones Act then it would have been cleaned up faster. I just find it strange the amount of people including BP CEO and even our President that sold BP stock and by sold I'm talking cashed the hell out before the spill. Also, BP stands to gain if this causes a knee-jerk reaction into us forcing more green technology mandates since 70% of BP R&D goes to green technology. Hey call it a conspirecy theroy all you want, but I can find proof for all of these points.

As per usual, more government is a problem; never a solution.
