I caught my neighbor (the wife) trying to look in my windows again this morning---my cat had been sitting in a window and left the curtains "apart". She made me so MAD the way she "ducked" her head when she saw me come out the front door! :angry7: I am also SICK & TIRED of trying to be nice to everyone...being nice to "toxic people" is like giving out free "crack" to drug addicts. Problem is, it's not always easy to tell at first glance who has "problems" and who doesn't. I never wanted to be a "distant, cold-hearted" person but I can certainly understand how people end up that way!! :angry7: Lastly, one of my dear friends has cancer and there's a great chance she won't be around in a few more months. :crybaby2: What's BOTHERING YOU today???

:cat: First of all, Sheryl, I would be majorly bothered if my neighbor's wife was peeking in my windows - I sure hope that gets straightened out for you. I also feel for you about your friend with cancer. That is definitely not easy to deal with. I will pray for her.
What's bothering me today, is a certain family situation that has spiraled and caused problems with other family members. The one who started it and keeps fanning the flames is blaming others when it's all her undoing. I don't like being put in the middle to try and calm things, especially when none of us cares for her and she doesn't like us. What makes me mad is the threat of not being able to see the grandkids, and the lies she tells them about things about family members that are not true. (Actually, she's being urged on by her mom, who hates our family side, and doesn't want the grands to have anything to do with our side.) Sorry if I have gone in circles around this.

I am sorry that you both were bothered today by different issues. But I am sure that you are not alone. I was bothered by one of my tanenhs who is not able to pay the rent for 3 months already and he told me that he won't be able to pay for the next 3 months either. He told me that he could not figure out his monthly bill but he just could not afford the rent anymore. what do you think? Well life is going on. Happy Hollaween to everyone!

My stupid computer keeps freezing when I try to pull up some pdf files then I can't download the latest version of Adobe reader because it keeps freezing. :BangHead:

somehow I forgot to mention that the people that live upstairs have let another family member move in with his "woman" (I don't know if they are married or what) and they have a newborn baby. The baby crying doesn't bother me, I know the other neighbor lady up there will make sure it's being taken care of. What I can't sleep thru is whatever the female is inhaling (or smoking) up there that makes her laugh uncontrollably lets say non-stop for at least 60 minutes.
I don't know how the others up there tolerate it...I've been tempted to call the police but I don't want to get on the others that live up there "bad side" as they've been pretty great neighbors. That laughing hyena woke me up way too early today and I finally turned on the radio to try and block her out. Anyway---jcribb, your situation sounds similiar to one in our family only it's my sister that refuses to get in the middle and I CAN'T seem to find my way out without getting sucked back in. Perhaps every family has it's "trouble maker(s)", I don't know. They sure know how to mess up a family, that's for sure! superteacher: luv your avatar!! I would be checking into small claims court 9depending on how much your tennant owes) and see about getting a judge to order them to pay up or put a lien on his future earnings and DON'T let it go another 3 months!! If he can't afford the rent then he needs to get out and quit ripping you off!! Happy Howl-a-ween ya'll!!

It's the 4th day & FC systems are not working. Started noticing on 10/27/10.
Sat. contest last week no current contest, non this sat. New Nov. contest did it but no nothing happened in the late 72 hrs. Daily cash email & paid to click is not processing & not getting credit for the last 4 days. I posted support for help again & I've not gotten any input. I don't usually complain about things but when your poor & jobless, you tend to be a little short tempered. :crybaby2: :crybaby2: :crybaby2: :crybaby2: :crybaby2:

Hello everyone just here to express what I am feeling and whats bothering me today tonight. I just got a phone call from my mother inlaw and according to her her brother my wife's uncle is really upset for some strange reason. Apparently we lied to him about my wife's grandmother loaning us money for our wedding when we didn't lie to anyone. I am really upset right now and don't know what to do. We got married about 6 months ago and they are still dwelling on the fact that we have to pay the grandmother back which we will. My mother inlaw is stressing that we need to pay her back or they will get lawyers and all this other stuff. Anyone want to help me out on this. >:(

what is bothering me...theres a certain someone acting like she is close to my family and everyone else i know....it seems like she wants attention or something. she talks about others so I know to beaware of her. I gave her hints..she doesnt need to try that hard.....she can be a friend but not my sis!!

I have so many orders for my business that I can not keep up.
I know these two sorta contradict themselves and But when orders are time sensitive it sucks. Gotta have a blanket and hat mailed out tuesday and I am only starting it now. Thankfully they are only for a 2 year old.

Have you every woke up and you just feel like--what in the world is going on today! I had a not so good day, Thursday. Here is what happened. I was scheduled for a mammogram. Because I am in the process of getting medical insurance, I had not realized that I was required to get charity care before scheduling an appointment. To make a long story short, I had managed to get the hospital to allow me to write a postdated check for the following week. This would have been the second time that I would have to rescheduled a mammogram. I was not about to let this happened again. I had my mammogram then I scheduled an appointment for charity care. That didn't go well at first. I don't where they get these customer service people but they always managed to give the wrong information. She was going to refuse me an appointment so I went over there and got an appointment.
Next morning, I complained to one of the supervisors. I do not take kindly to people who do not treat others with respect or just plain inconsiderate. I needed my mammogram as part of my follow-up as required from oncologist. I let them know that it was not communicated as to how I was to apply for charity care. As far as I was concerned, all this would be taken care of when I go to my appointment. Also, this charity care is available to individuals who has or had some form of cancer, have a prescription from a doctor for any follow-up appointment and do not have any insurance coverage. I fit this category. I got my appointment and after hearing my complaint, the supervisor has made it her business that the Finance department is very aware of my appointment and staff is retrained properly in giving patients the right information regarding charity care. BTW, I got my results from my mammogram which is,"No mammographic evidence of malignancy." I intend to keep the results that way!

Nothing really bothered me today..I dressed my dog and cat up for halloween and they would not sit still while I took a few pics but I love them soo much lol so I was not too mad and besides they were dressed as a bumble bee and ladybug so how mad could I get at them lol :angel12:

This is going to be very petty I know but....I live in a duplex and it's in a great area but it's out of town a bit so we can't get cable so we stick with good old broadcast TV. For the last few months the unit next to ours has been empty but a woman and her 2 kids just moved in. She's very nice but every time they turn on their van it jacks with our TV signal and I'm stuck with nothing but garbled programs!! And they don't just gt in and go...oh no! They have to turn it on, let it run 15 mins with the radio blasting! It's petty and I KNOW it's not intentional but sometimes.....I just want to throw things at them..... :bs:

Well if I were you I would call my local cable company and try to get them to put in a seperate cable line or something. Just something to think about.

My heart goes out to all of you and I will pray for you all. :heart: My friend is hanging onto life by a thread, and will be going home soon. It's a great loss to us, but she has "graduated", and will be leaving this all behind. I kind of envy her in a way.
Life is short and full of trouble. The Bible clearly bears this out. However, I've also learned that God has big shoulders and willing to help carry my burdens. The Bible bears this out also.

Whats bugging me is my boyfriend. He hasn't called in four days. Normally, I'd be worried, but this has become a regular thing for him. He'll just out of no where stop talking to me for days at a time...Its quite aggravating.

I am happy today too. I got alot of things done at work today. I am a newbie at work and there are alot of things that I have to do each day and hopefully I will be a pro at it. I take care of all the inventory at the Staples store I am at including returns and damages.

Bills, bills, and more bills. I love the first of the month (payday) but hate watching it go right back out of our account and ending up right back where I was on the 31st - broke. LOL

I know what's bothering me is the same as a lot of people, but I feel the need to say it anyway. The company I have worked for for 8 years is having MAJOR problems, I believe that in a month or two we might be filing for bankruptcy. I haven't recieved a paycheck on time for about 4 months now and things don't seem to be getting any better. I love the company but I can't keep dwindling down our savings because I never know if I'm actually going to get my paycheck or not. I've put in for about 10 jobs and haven't heard back from anyone. I live in a very small town and jobs are scarce. I'm an intelligent person with a college degree so it's not like I'm not qualified. I've tried applying for jobs the next town over but unfortunately, I have an eye disease and am blind at night. With the winter days so short I wouldn't be able to get home by myself so no one wants to hire me. Luckily my husband's job is secure, but we couldn't survive on just his paycheck. I'm scared and really starting to freak out. I don't know what to do.

There are a lot of things that bother me. The issues go in and out of my head daily. I am having problems with my family disowning me for something another family member did to me. Along with my mother not believing me at first aswell as her fighting me to get grandmother rights when she has done some bad things to me in my childhood. Being a new stay at home mom to a awesome babygirl and a wife to an awesome husband. I am just not used to not working. I have a disability that is preventing me from working, the condition is getting worse. I have seen a few doctors regarding it and they are not taking the issue very serious. I have applied for SSI and got denied because the idiots that approve/disapprove the cases do not read. I try and work from home but those jobs are hard to come by. I guess you can not win for loosing. GRRRR It is just frustrating. I am so happy and loving life with my husband and daughter if it wasn't for them I do not know what would be happening. I am just venting, I am sure others have it just as bad or worse then me. So I should be happy with what I have. It is so crazy that money is the root f happiness at times. Well hope everyone has an awesome day

The Gov't denies 95% of SSI Disability claims the first time, right off the bat. Don't give up!! File a redetermination. If you have to, hire an attorney that specializes in SSI Claims. If they think you have a good chance of getting it, they will take your case, and will only take a certain percentage (I think 25%) IF your claim gets approved. Also, the SSI will pay you back pay up to a certain point. Don't give up, keep filing. Eventually, your case will land on someone's desk who WILL read it, and get the process going.
It will work out....hang in there.

Hi Sarah, I know the feeling of wondering if your going to get a paycheck from an almost defunct company or not. Unfortunately, with the economy, everyone is tightening their belt. I wouldn't want to be job hunting myself in this economy. I feel especially bad for the families like you. Thank God your husband has a secure job....more than a lot of people have right now. You would be surprised how little you could live off of....if you had to. I live in a rural area also in a resort town. Many business's are folding, and many people are leaving the area because there's just no work. Maybe if you got a job in the other town your speaking of, you could car pool with someone just during the dark months. I've developed a type of night blindness myself which is really irritating because I use to have the best nocturnal eyes...lol
Don't get scared and freak out. Things have a way of working out. You might start thinking about what you could do at home. Maybe childcare for someone working? You're already making a little cash online, I know people who take in other peoples laundry and washes, folds, and does some light ironing for $40 a pop. A lot of working single guys like this service the most. Cleaning someone else's home is very lucrative money wise. Something like this could hold you over until you find something you could apply the college degree to.

House cleaning isn't one of my strong points but maybe childcare. I like to think I'm pretty good with my own son so I could do that. Everybody's having a rough time in this economy. One of the candidates in my state for Senate... he's so backwards and... just grrr. I'm irked at the amount of people who are voting for him without knowing this stuff... like the fact that he thinks the US should not be held accountable to the rest of the world, he thinks Medicaid/Medicare/CHIP should be abolished even though he is a friggin doctor who accepts payments from these programs... there is just too much to go on about. My blood pressure rises when I think that it is highly likely he will be elected and my new Senator by the end of the day!

for once, there is nothing bothering me today! my husband and i cleaned the house top to bottom, inside and out this morning and then i baked some delicious cupcakes for an old friends who was coming by so i could meet her new baby girl. when they left, i got started making dinner and baked a pineapple upside cake for the dinner party we are having with my cousin that i have not seen in over 5 years. my 10year old son got his report card today and is getting straight a's and my 2year old daughter is officially potty trained. other than the unseasonable warm weather here in southern california, i have absolutely nothing to complain about today... but im sure i'll have loads tomorrow! :)

Having family and neighbors can really be a pain sometimes. They can annoy you in someway or other and make you want to scream "go jump in a river". Too bad you can't choose your family or neighbors.

Got any tips? I'm currently potty training my daughter, and she annihilated her potty. We have to buy her a new one. She stays dry for hours and overnight, but we can't seem to get her to make the connection to actually going on the potty.

the fact that i have to write a 10 page paper that is due tomorrow night. and i have to do a stupid debate on the topic that i had no choice bu to take. i hate when teachers assign you topics that you dont even like. then expect you to bust out a 10 PAGE PAPER ABOUT IT! blehh... so lame

I hate how my husband is constantly on his blackberry- at dinner, when we visit my family, when I am trying to have a conversation with him, when he's driving, in line at the grocery store, checking out...it makes me feel like crap. My family has asked why he's always on it and I don't know what to say. What is so important on Twitter that he has to ignore his wife and kids?!!! It is very excessive. I feel like we don't know each other any more and I am so tired of having to repeat everything a million times b/c he is preoccupied. Have I become a nagging wife? Please tell me this isn't normal. I can't live like this forever. I feel like he doesn't care about anything I have to say. I tell him how I feel but he thinks I'm over-reacting. I just get lonely and I feel so bad for our kids. They try to put on shows for us and he stares at that damned thing. They just want him to watch their little dance performance and I get so mad and feel like I need to compensate for his lack of attention somehow. How do I handle this?

When he goes to sleep, preferably on a Saturday night, take the dammed Blackberry and hide it. When he wakes up on Sunday morning, tell him that he is gong to give one day per week to you and the kids.....PERIOD. IF this doesn't work out. Just be nice and NEXT TIME do the same thing, and if this doesn't work out, just be nice and then take the dammed Blackberry and throw it in a river somewhere. IF this don't work, you need to consult a family counselor, maybe at church, or a DIVORCE ATTORNEY..SORRY for ALL your troubles. Sounds like he is addicted to it.

Grocery stores that rip you off. In the past 2 weeks, I have caught Kroger, Publix and Food Lion. I won and got some stuff FREE, and got the right price on my order, BUTTT most peole just buy a buggy full of groceries and NEVER notice the Rip-OFF.
In fact Food Lion tried to rip me off on SHRIMP, I caught it and got the one bag FREE. Went back 5 days later, got some more shrimp, and it was still ringing up wrong. Got some more Free shrimp and got the other bag at the correct price.
It rang up wrong at Kroger. I would not pay and told the cashier why. SHe called customer service. That lady said well it took off the $5.00. I cracked up the whole store. I said, lady, I don't care what it took off. I CAN COUNT ALL my fingers and toes WITHOUT A CALCULATOR!! and 10 49cents is $4.90 plus tax, not $13.21.
I got mad and told them to just keep it, started to walk out, but decided to get this setteled NOW. Wnet back and said I want to speak to THE MANAGER, not a manager but THE MANAGER. He came and was very nice. I showed him the ad, and my receipt. We went and looked at the display. He said I don't know ehy it is ringing up like this, but I am on your side. Walked me throught the check out and told the girl to just ring them all up at 49 cents each. Total was $5.00 including tax. Heck of a lot better than $13.21.
My back was hurting and I was in a hurry to go home and lay down. BUTT next day I thought about the Kroger policy that IF an item scans wrong you get one item FREE.
Took all my papers back to Kroger the next day. Different manager. Explained to him and I got another of each item FREE!! Nestles coca, Kroger canned pears, and DelMonte diced tomatoes. YEAH FOR ME!!

yes yes, i think we all feel u. i'm currently "unemployed" according to my fiances immediate family..even though i am technically employed at my mom's in-home daycare. which she pays me for my help every week. is that not a job? someone should slap them, or maybe i should. i dont get checks.. i get cash in hand ..no check stubs so does that mean it's not a "real job". i hate people sometimes. they are on my bad side.. but more so his mother. STFU LADY U DONT KNOW $HIT!!. 70$ a week is better then 0$ a week.

Sheryl I know this was posted a few days ago..But I guess I needed to vent..Today what bothers me is a friend I thought was a friend just was out to be mean and hurtful and call me names (with her hubby on facebook)..Even had her kids be cruel to mine..It really made me angry and hurt..I am so tired of trusting and caring for the wrong people..And end up upset and feeling like a damn idiot for being so dumb..I saw signs did I walk away no I forgave,ignored even got hurt..Then it turns into this childish crap and I end up so angry I could blow..so now I ignore this person and hope that it does not turn more ugly since I have to see them daily since they are on my street at my kids bus stop... :sad1:

A little bit of everything! Ugh... Have I ever told you how much I don't like people?! :P Seriously... people are so cruel these days. I just don't get it. Maybe its just me. I don't know. You can't even go to the store without people cutting you off, pushing and shoving through, giving rude remarks, hateful looks... for no reason. I could go on and on. People have just gotten so selfish and hateful. It makes me sick. There's a lot of people walking around out there without a heart. its sad

What's bothering me today??? Ummm....I can't get warm, no matter what! I have the heater on in the house and I'm still freezing and then when I do get a little warm I start to sweat! Also, I can't seem to catch up with all my work and also thinking about how many calories I should eat daily. I have battled anorexia in the past and I feel like it is creeping up on me again. I hate it!! :angry7: :BangHead:

Don't let that happen I just saw a piece on Oprah the other day about anorexia and it was really sad. Please eat your 3 meals a day going down the wrong path leads to bad things. Noone here would want to hear that something bad had happened to you we would be devastated.

I saw that show on Oprah about Portia de Rossi and that's the thing with anorexics...we will go out of our way to watch something like that because we are obsessed with anything that has to do with diet or exercise.

Take it one day at a time and live life to the fullest but on the right trac. I am 32 years old and I feel like I am over weight myself but I still eat normally and do the normal activities everyday. Maybe yu should get in a routine where you take 1hr and go walk or do exercises don't think of anything else if you want to lose the weight the right way then this is what you have to do.

what's bothering me today is our finances - that bothers me every day though. But for us, its very bad. We need to move out of our home before the winter hits (which is pretty much now) and the money just isn't there. My husband doesn't support me as he doesn't understand the reason why I've struggled in online business this year is having had to start my sites over and over again with several hosts for one problem after another and its cost me a lot of money I would have otherwise made. Mesh that with when people don't respond to what I do and I know I work hard, its frustrating. Well now, I am pregnant and being nauseated all the time has cut my work in half when I need to double my work time more than ever with the holidays almost here and this new baby in June. We've never been in such a bad place financially. But I still try to help others through it and stay strong. I'm just bothered by feeling like people take for granted what I do and don't support me back when the work I do supports other people doing the same as I do. I know other people would have given up long ago if they were me - people do it all the time. But I'm stronger than that after 10 years and finally know what I'm doing. I'll never quit - as I know that, that is the only true way to fail....

Wtg with that post I am in the same situation. I mean I am not pregnat or anything if I was I would be a millionaire. Lol. We are struggling with money as well. My wife got into a car accident and the car was totaled so we have to look for another car. Paying rent on top of that, cell phone bills, and trying to move as well, we need to get out of where we are living. Living with relatives is not fun at all and we definatly need to get out of here soon. I hope by the middle ofDecember.

I did that too - living with relatives. Will not do it again. My husband has often times suggested a roommate here and there but I am the mom and queen of my castle and need my space - a roommate would severely hinder my comfort and that is a big thing in how productive my day is too! I feel where you're coming from - we're in the same boat. Its bittersweet that someone is in the same boat - unfortunate that its happening, but at least we know we're not alone right?

Yes this is true. Is where you live big enough for a roomate? I know thats not what you want. Also being pregnant doesn't help the cause either just another bill added to the pile. Anyway do u know of anyone that might enjoy this site. Let me know maybe we can get thiem to join us and make a little extra money. We both need the support.
