I haven't really experienced winter ( though I'll be back in January) just an early fall, and i love it. It's really nice to take a walk outdoor and play with my daughter. I still don't know when winter will start! For those who already got a chilling winter experience can you share some of your view about the winter season, some said its cruel and a really bitter cold, some said its like heaven of white dazzling snow..

Hi but does it really hurt the skin when its super cold? How many clothes do you wear?
-
Love winter! Down here in Texas, it doesn't stay as cold as Id like all of the time, but when it gets good enough to snow, its unbelievable!!
-
I dislike winter because I can not stand too much cold weather. And plus it usually snows in winter and sometimes it is good to have some snow when you have not seen none in a really long time, but other than that I don't care too much for winter.
-
I like the winter especially with a nice hot cocoa
-
yeah I also think I can't handle too much cold but since I haven't experienced it yet I'm super excited. Do you guys play with your kids on the snow? and how long can you last being outside?
-
i  it

I'm of two minds about winter. On one side, I grew up in TN (specifically in an area where a 1/2 inch of snow was enough to close schools) so I didn't get to see much snow. Because of that, snow is still exciting to me, even now in OH after dealing with tromping through the 2 ft deep snow during my 10 min walk to the apartment complex's mailbox area earlier this year.
I also love the winter holidays, so that's in winter's favor.
On the other hand, I HATE the cold; have always hated the cold, and will always hate it. 90+ degrees outside....pfft....I may start to break a sweat only if I start running around... but if it drops below 60, I start to feel the chill. :-
So I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. My fiance's my polar (heh) opposite; he'll break a sweat sitting in the shade when it's 75 degrees outside, but he loves the cold...even so far as he can walk around in shorts and a t-shirt in 40 degree weather and be comfortable.

I do not like the snow and cold of winter, but its hockey season so I like that part of winter.
-
The first two or three weeks of winter is great but then it gets really old for me.
-
I love winter. I love the snow. Although at times it is too cold. For the most part I love winter. Last year we had a snow blizzard and the snow was up to my knees. I hope that it snows again this year. Although winter can cause complications such has dangerous roads to drive on. One example is that our roof to our patio fell because it was too much snow on it. Hopefully this year nothing bad will happen. I also love to drink hot chocolate when I'm cold. I would rather be cold than hot just like the person above me said.
-
There are some aspects of winter that I like and some that I don't like. For example, I love being able to cozy up on the couch with a blanket and watch tv. But I absolutely hate driving in the winter.
-
Dislike very much. I prefer the miserable hot and dry to any type of cold. Although last year there was finally enough snow to build a snowman, so that helped ease my pain. This year is looking to be another cold and windy no good winter, though. I am enjoying this 70 and 80 degree November!

Love the Holidays but I hate the snow and the cold.
-
I'd rather be in Florida, however, my kids  are in the east so I guess that's where I must live.
-
Dislike dislike dislike, a thousand times dislike. The snow and ice are bad enough, add in too many hours of darkness and gray skies, and you've got yourself one long depressing season.
-
I live in Maine, so winters can be harsh and extremely long. Some years winter gets an early start and the snow can start coming down in early November and the last snow fall can occur in late April. I hate winter and wish at times I could hibernate until spring. The toughest parts about winter to me is driving in the snow and shoveling the snow. Not to mention having to wear layers of protective clothing and hats that ruin your hair, lol. One positive note is that winter ends eventually.
-
I have hated winter since I was a kid. I even got depressed when fall came because it would mean winter was not far behind but I recently joined a site where I view people's pictures and I'm really starting to appreciate how beautiful winter can be. I'm not too depressed this year :) I've stocked up on batteries for my camera and I'm ready for the snow. Ice is pretty too but I don't know if I'm ready for it yet - cold and no power is NOT fun.

dislake the winter i love the heat to much

I LOVE WINTER IT'S THE ONLY TIME I GET A BREAK FROM MY ALLERGIES!
-
When I lived in Michigan my home state it was summer and spring..Now in Florida Fall and winter cause summer is just to damn hot and humid LMAO
-
Winter is miserable. It used to be fun to play in the snow and miss school, but now that I'm an adult it's more of a nuisance. Driving in snow is the worst!
-
Winter is OK by me. You can dress for the cold, but it's gard to beat the heat. I like hoodies and coats too. Spring is my favorite time of year though.
-
I don't like the winter time. My skin dries out my hair looks dull. I don't like wearing a lot of clothing esp heavy coats. The snow causes messes. It's just not a fun season unless you like the snow. I don't mind snow if I don't have to get out.
-
I rather have the weather cool than frosty/chilly cold in the winter because cold weather dries up my skin.
-
I love winter and cold weather. Anytime I can cuddle up with my honey under a blanket is great.
-
summer is still my favorite holiday but I do like it when winter first hits because it's a nice change in the seasons and there are great holidays. But by February I am sick of winter and want summer in the worst way!
-
Im not a fan of winter. the cold and having to dress in layers. I used to live in big snow country where you get 300 inches of snow on an average year. now i only get about 80 inches of snow each year.

I like winter because it's represent my name. Actually I love all 4 weather. All of them are an creation of God.
-
I don't like it. Too cold for me! I get cold too easily.
-
In my humble opinion. Winter is nice to look at but I would hate to be out in it. So guess you need to put my vote down in the dislike column.
-
Considering the type winters we have, I can't really say I dislike them. The thing that bugs me about that time of the year is, it's dark at 5:00. I don't like my day to be over at 5:00. The rest of th year, I can go out in the yard, or go walking,or play with my dog outside or wash my car in the evenings etc.
-
I absolutely love the cold! Snow, boots, scarfs, layers, sledding, good memories. I seriously could have winter all the time
-
I love the Winter weather.
-
I really like winter. That's when the elk come down and it is time to go hunting. I also like to play in the snow and go ice fishing.
-
:'( i am a florida girl living in nc now i am already about to freeze and its not winter yet last witer was terrible i hope it gets better this year. maybe one day i will be rich and can afford 2 homes one for winter and one for summer one can only hope :)
-
yeah most states in the US last year got terrible winter, too cold..then summer got too hot..mother nature sure is telling us something..but on top of that I still want to see snow..but maybe it will be too cold to play outside most of the time so..I hope it won't be that super cold..welcome winter!!
-
I really prefer the warmer season but I like winter cos I can cuddle all day.
-
I grew up in Wisconsin and I used to hate winter. But then I moved to Florida and now I miss it. I mainly miss just seeing snow, its fun to go outside and play and I even enjoy shoveling sometimes, its a great workout.
-
Love it. I can't stand the heat.. Besides, when you're cold you can always dress up nice and warm but when you're hot it's not like you can peel your skin off or sit in a pool 24/7 haha.
-
I llike the snow in winter, makes the kids happy.
-
We used to live in Michigan and would get TONS of snow...I've seen it up to our roof tops before...we've been snowed in! Then we moved to Kentucky because my husband is in the Army...and everyone said I would miss the winters, miss the snow...etc....
I'm here to tell you..NO, I do NOT miss the snow, I do not miss the cold (Sam I AM) LOL
-
I like winter for Christmas and Thanksgiving, other than that - I don't like it!!! Too much work shuvelling snow and cleaning up the Leaves. I just cleared the Driveway over the weekend and it is full of leaves already - YUK!!!
-
I can't stand the cold it does look nice when it snows but I would rather have warm weather.
-
I enjoy summer so much more then winter. I live in Wisconsin and the winters here suck.
-
Dread winter and really don't like it. Hate the cold and the icy walks and streets. In Minnesota we have already had our first snowfall. It ws a heavy wet one and the trees looked beautiful, but the roads were slick for a while. It has been above freezing for a few days, so the streets, walks, driveways are now clear, but the snow in the yard is still here.
-
I sorta like winter but not for LONG!
-
It depends where you live. Somewhere tropical or deep south-winter is great. Anywhere it snows- it sucks.
