Title: Kids say the darndest things.
Post by: smithjcsdfw on December 12, 2010, 01:11:17 pm
Ya know there used to be a celebratie by the name of Art Linkletter who said that, "Kids Say the Darndest Things."  Well that point just was driven home last week when my grandaughter got home from school an announced to the family that she learned in school that tomorrow was the last day of Honda.  Took us a few moments to figure out that she was referring to the Jewish holiday of hannukkah.  So do any of you folks have something that a kids has shared with you that you would like to share with us?

I heard this....didn't witness it.

During a church service a boy of 3 kept disrupting the service.  He asked his dad if he could leave.  His dad replied "if I take you out, it's for a spanking, now settle down".  The boy tried to settle down but just had to much "play" in him.  After the umpteenth warning, the father had enough.  Picking up the boy, he started out of the sanctuary to administer the promised punishment.  Before he could reach the back of the church, the boy yelled out "Pray for me church....PRAY'!
